I really think it takes some time to adjust to new players. They will get better but some preseason practice would have helped. IMHO.

Fields is nearly fastest QB in the league. Perhaps they are just playing conservative until they get the angles down?

After all this is the first time the defense has ever played against Fields, except for when he played QB against this defense all the time when he was a Steeler in practice….never mind!

Not easing in on offensive. But the defense is needing time to adjust and get on the same page. The defense is getting closer though to making a big play.
