1 QB Trade ammo


2 Sonny Styles OSU ILB
Has tools to become great. All of the Steelers current LBs kinda suck until further notice. I see Styles as possibly having tools and potential at both LB spots and SS. I think that gives you more freedom to wait for truly elite talent at the other two spots to fall into your lap during the rebuild.


3 QB Trade ammo


3 Amauri Washington Oregon DL
Big and fast. Can anchor and penetrate. I haven’t really paid much attention to much of the team this year. I can tell you this. The defense sucks goat dick. You can’t have too many big fast strong DL


4 QB Trade ammo


5 Derrick Moore Michigan Edge
I’ve always liked the effort Alex Highsmith brings. That doesn’t mean his performance is always solid. He is upgradable. Herbig is strictly a situational player and a passable backup. Low Watt sucks. Truthfully his recent off a cliff decline has surprised even me. I never liked the guy. Easily the most unclutch player in Steelers history. NONE of those three are getting cut next year. Moore has solid potential and tools in the 5th round



5C QB Trade ammo



6 Patrick Payton LSU Edge

6C Haynes King Georgia Tech QB
Hard for me to believe that frame will hold up in the NFL but he does have some toughness to him and enough dual threat and outlier arm strength for me to blow a late comp pick on a team that grinds up QBs



7 Gavin Sawchuck FSU WR/RB
Rumored 4.2 but plays at 4.3. Still breakaway speed however. Not great at 3rd down blocking. In the 7th round I try to look for weapons who could upgrade a backend need that have some outlier potential. I think this guy projects as a guy who can mismatch teams splitting out wide who get big vs the run and teams who are deep with solid CBs vs 3, 4, and 5 wide by moving inside to RB. A decent shot in the 7th at becoming the Steelers WR/RB hybrid with breakaway speed. Can he be a ST returner ??


7C Savell Smalls Colorado TE/FB
A great Steelers type late. Good hands. A more talented and athletic Conor Heyward. Not gonna be more than a backup but will be a solid STer with the ability to make some plays on offense. If the Steelers had any kind of history of developing players he’d become a solid FB/TE type weapon. As it stands he’s a back ender who projects better than Heyward who is an UFA
