SF Board Draft 2019: Discussion, Brickbats, and Harangue
Enjoy the draft. Bittersweet with the end to the AB saga, but we'll make the most of it. Please give me a contact info for you so I can text, tweet, message you to let you know you're up in the draft.
Will The Shake, I'm talking mainly to you.
Please get trades approved, and don't trade any players who are FAs or with unsigned franchise/transition tags.
Aight, gentlemen... start your engines.

Ice, being a Buckeye fan I had you pegged for Bosa. I’m already 0-1

I think you're as bad as AZ, you swing for the fences for QB. If it doesn't work, you'll have another set of high draft picks to do something else. But if you pick BPA on defense, you might end up in purgatory: a few more wins and you don't have a shot at a true franchise QB. Murray's not for everyone, but he could work. Effortless arm talent and will be one of the if not the fastest players in the NFL.

In the end, I thought, like B2B said, the home run ball made the most sense here. Worst result, we're here again next year.
I fought with picking Bosa long and hard, though.

Not saying you did the right or wrong thing I just like to guess along with the picks.
I thought you’d follow your fandom and go Bosa.
I guessed wrong

He’s already getting on my nerves. Anyone else want AB?
Ha. I'll trade you Jameis Winston for him.

It's okay, I replied that I would send him a 3rd and a 5th for AB.

How can I put this nicely?
If you come into my draft threads and post politics or racial garbage, I will see to it that you are permabanned.

Second that.
Also, I truly appreciate the Johnny Dangerously reference.

The surprising Buckeye I was considering at 1st overall was actually Haskins, not Bosa. I think he's probably the best passer I've seen at Ohio State, and even though we now know that all the receivers were running 4.3s out there, the accuracy was pretty pinpoint perfect in most cases, and defenses knew what was coming, and they couldn't stop it. I think he'll be a good pro sooner than later, and given how his career began, stepping in on a very big stage isn't going to faze him, either.
Alright, Cop, that Hockenson pick was an eye opener.

These last three picks are the best so far.
I think Ed Oliver is the best player in this draft.
Haskins is a good fit in NY, isn't perfect but he seemed less fazed by pressure (both physical and situational) than I expected when I went to look at his tape. He could be a solid starter.
I think Hockenson is the safest pick in the draft... the lowest chance of bust. Jags are Baltimore South: their offense currently built on TE versatility.

And after Haskins was taken they might as well wait for the 2nd round.

True. 7th is ludicrous to go after the kid from Duke, for instance. I'm still not sure he doesn't Christian Ponder himself into the top 10-15 when this thing goes live for real, though.

Daniel Jones is terrible.
My QB3 is going to go 5 rounds later and be a better NFL QB.

Tampa surely needs him.
