Agreed. Pickett in two years never had a game as productive of Rudolph’s half. Heck I’m not sure Pickett has had two games equal to Rudolph’s first half.

It was a 3rd down play with a ball thrown to the sideline, 1 on 1, with no safety in sight and if for some reason it was picked then it was no more than a long punt. I have no issue with that call.

The cost would be forty seconds not ticking off giving Bengals a chance. My larger point though wasn’t on the 3rd but the first. Getting more points wasn’t as important as making sure the Bengals didn’t get any points in that situation.
