That isn't on the kid.

Penalties put him in that situation.

Way to help your young QB out.
Considering he was the guy who, you know, threw the pass, yeah we can blame him. C'mon dude. Late throw and was wobbling.
Don't give a fuck.

His teammates were the guys that, you know, put him in a 3rd and 16 situation.

Can't do that to a young kid.

Pickett should have taken the check down to Najee. Probably would have picked up 8-10 yards. Would have given them a fighting chance on 4th down.

Let's be fair. He's been pretty unlucky on at least 2 of those picks, but that one was all him.

Felt like DJ needed to fight harder for that ball...

Outside of Pickens - none of our WRs fight for the ball.

A 10 yard check down for Najee? That happens like 2 or 3 times a year.

Shit throw.
Penalties

I'm not putting this on the kid.
that was a bad play.

Overall, everyone played well. Just a horrible offensive scheme. Would be nice to have held onto one of Tua’s five or so gift interceptions though.

Jesus, how many picks did we drop tonight? 5?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Don’t disagree that it was a red zone meltdown, but he still threw a shitty ball. I’m rooting for the kid.

No, KP doesn’t get a pass on that.
Right, he's got to make sure everyone is set before he sends Boykin in motion on that illegal shift play.

Edit: Didn't see on the replay, but assumed that everyone wasn't set before the WR started in motion.

So that is the most dropped INTs by a defense this year in the NFL, right?

Well, whether he's been shit or not tonight so far, that means nothing now. All that matters is the next drive. Let's see what ole pee pee hands has in him.

The throw? Sure was.

His teammates took the kid from the doorstep of taking the lead, to basically a desperation 3rd and 16 situaion.

So....there's that.
