Re: MARCH MADNESS: Favorite Ex-Steelerfury.com Poaster - Hardnosed vs. Spiker

Post by Obviously » Sun Apr 05, 2026 6:19 pm

I'm guessing @langer isn't voting for Spiker, but if he is, the vote is tied:

Hardonosed - 3
Spiker - 3

Let me be the deciding vote - Hardnosed

If @langer isn't voting then Hardnosed wins anyway 3 votes to 2.

Congratulations to Hardnosed who advances to the Elite 8!

The next contest is Mad Chatter vs. Pittsburgh. Mad Chatter was never a username on Steelerfury, but his exploits were legendary showing up on Bob Labriola's steelers.com column entitled "Asked and Answered" asking questions while referencing famous Steelerfury memes such as Hi5Steeler loving "slant plays."

Voting ends at 5 PM Eastern US time on Tuesday, April 7.

Mad Chatter gave me some of the best belly laughs I've ever had.

Mad Chatter!

I'm going to guess this is a vote for Pittsburgh since he doesn't have any yet.

That would be correct

This was his freshman fraternity pic when he was “in the college.”

Steeler Al was perhaps the weirdest poaster in stillers/steelerfury history, and that's saying something. Some legendary shit with the guy. But I've been voting solid poster over hilarity (well except for Demetrius Gore). Gotta go with fractal.

Hesske....instrumental in the founding of this esteemed website, and actually collaborated with Tronic on a number of posts, a combination of Hesske's unrivaled literary skills and Tronics artistic abilities.

Hesske could be rightfully dubbed the poet laureate of steelerfury.com and stiller..com before that. A memorable post attributable to both Hesske Tronic contained visuals of an electric football game, players turning aimlessly in circles in comparison to the Steelers management.

Of course Tronic, Ol' Hesske was always on some tangent. Tron was a gifted artist.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

Man, this is a tough one, but then again, it's the Elite 8, right? :D

Stillustronic by an eyelash

His takedown of Professor Half Wit (I forget what he used to be called) was legendary.

Loved both, but FC's Gospel was required reading for me back in the day.
