Extended or he retires on his own. Rooney has no spine or brain.

Someone is going over to Todd Monken's house and killing him tonight.

Your argument was hopium. You made a thread about the weather being an impact and it turned into 29000 pages

Tomlin is a complete idiot. When asked about Freiermuth not being targeted until the 4th quarter he said it was because they didn’t convert enough 3rd downs. Jonuu Smith didn’t have that problem. If they don’t fire this asshole, I’m not sure I can watch another season.

Jim Mora developed two winning teams and Marty developed three.

Tomlin and Lewis should not be mentioned in the same breath.

It doesn't - maybe if you target Muth you actually DO convert some 3rd downs.

I.dont care how good the Texans D played, the fact that they went 0-fer on 3rd until the 3rd quarter should be a fireable offense on its own.

Used to be that I wanted Tomlin fired but I had no problem with him as a human being, even respected him.

I lost that respect this year for multiple reasons.

Seems, the more I know the less I like.

What an absolute piss fuck of a game.

14 plays in and I went back to working on my graduate school assignments and wished for a semblance of hope. All I got was rope

Wow ….
That was the worst one yet
They embarrassed themselves]

Rodger’s playe like shit … a scared old man back there
Seamalu was a fat speed bump
Austin did nothing … seemed he as in Rodger’s doghouse
Tomlin again refuses risk
Smith is a fool enamored with mixes and switches … refuses to do what works and keep doing it
Cam and Benton were fucking steamrolled
Watt is washed up ‘
Their DBs are just one breakdown after another

All that said the Texans D is sick and the perfect recipe for the Steelers O as their open field tackling is elite and they rock our little guys over and over
And 4 man rush starting ahead is Fear Factor for Rodger’s
Steelers knew all this and did … as always … Zero to change tendencies and scheme
Bad mix of absolute joke of a staff … and tired old vets who quit

Very disappointing to see how bad 76 played tonight and same with Issac who played his last game last night imo. 81 hopefully is a FA or if not is shown the door. Watt should have been moved when he asked for more money

This game wasn’t about the players.
It wasn’t about the Texans.

It was about Mike Tomlin. Again. And we all knew it was coming.

I blame Tomlin most of all … as always. I think you know I blame him for the last decade or more of intentional mediocrity and his utter failure to develop-, scheme, change or do anything really except babble nonsense
But there were some shit performances tonight and some quit in a few
But that Quit is also a Tomlin calling card …. Because the don’t care once NHALS is sealed and checks cashed

Hoping for pass rush to get some real pressure, and the LBs and safeties can cover decently enough if JPJ can minimize Collins. Payton Wilson in coverage needs to step up tonight.
Be nice to see Highsmith. Watt and herbig get in Strouds face and head.
The DLine had been coming on and the start8ng 3 are probably playing their best at the right time.
This could be a low scoring game from both sides.
20-17
17-14
17-13
Watt, Highsmith, and Herbig when healthy - like they are tonight - are as good a group of pass rushers as the NFL has to offer.

It wasn’t close to one FYI. Defender took it away after the play was over.
