If you're betting on the Steelers next week (and who wouldn't be considering it's MNF at home), then hope for Jalen Pitre to get dinged up in warmups. Hamilton going out changed everything. I'm not saying he's Troy Polamalu, but he's that kind of player for them.Baltostiller wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 3:19 amHamilton being out for the Ravens could be huge for the rest of this game.

You can only hope that, now that he's tied the franchise record for regular season wins, he will initiate the stepping away. But that's a serious longshot unless they also end the MNF streak next week and get shut down.W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 4:39 amI don't understand how anyone here can be happy about this. This was the best chance to be rid of Tomlin. This virtually guarantees he's extended. Fucking disappointing.

Last night had to serve as this adrenline boosting affirmation to him that his way does work. His instincts are right! Stay the course!

I hate that next Monday night I'll be rooting for this group and that I will have even be a slimmer of hope that maybe it'll be different this year with Rodgers, even though I know for certain how this story ends.

No I have PTSD. If I had no memory like a golden retriever or that guy in Momento, I would enjoy this more.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 3:14 pmCould it be that you have TDS?bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 1:59 pmI just hate him too much to ever enjoy his team winning.![]()

Steelers almost blew this game. Decision not to take 3 at end of the half was stupid. 3 blown coverages, 3 blown sacks. I get Lamar is special but Benton and Highsmith have no fucking excuse for missing that sack. Then blocked PAT.
Had Steelers executed some basic plays and not blown coverages so badly it almost felt like the fix was in, they beat the Ravens comfortably.
Microcosm of Tomlin's tenure made a game that should not have been as close as it was squeaky bum on nuclear fuel time. Too many players like Ramsey trying to make big plays instead doing their damn job.
I suspect Texans will deliver the end of season "party," and Steelers will stay mired in FFS purgatory.

From X: HARBAUGH IS OUT
John Harbaugh is a Hall of Fame coach, and Baltimore was blessed to have him as the Ravens head coach for years. He led the 2012 team to a Super Bowl. Many teams will trip over themselves to have him. I’m personally grateful for him, his leadership and example of faith.
But two things can be true at once.
The Harbaugh-Lamar duo just wasn’t getting it done. Too many times Harbaugh had Super Bowl caliber rosters headed by an MVP QB, and the team underperformed in the biggest moments. They’d actually lose their identity. It wasn’t just one player that would choke, it’s various stars taking their turn over the years. That’s a coaching and culture issue.
It’s time for another coach to get a crack at this with Lamar Jackson while he’s still in his prime.
It’s the right decision by Steve Biscotti.
