Washington Broken arm!
“We didn’t play poorly we didn’t just make enough plays”
They make no excuses!
We have capable men!
Defense kept us in the fight!
We didn’t do anything special against Miles!
The start doesn’t determine anything but the start!

Looks so contrived.
All you tomlin supporters find a new team to suckle
But that's because Tomlin is dumber than we can possibly imagine.

Getting beat 60-0 probably wouldn't get him fired, but it would probably end the media love affair for good.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 9:01 pmSure wish this would happen, but I'm afraid we all know it won't....even if they get beat 60-0 Tomlin will be back, it's almost as if ArtII wants to torture his fanbase.

I guaranteed we’d lose one key player in this game after Green Bay shit the bed against the Ravens.
Absolutely knew it was coming.
Also it’s a built in excuse for Tomlin to stay on if the Steelers lose to Baltimore.

Gonzo why does this effort suprise you ?
It was more reasonable to know that despite that, we wouldn’t put points on the board today.PennyBacker wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 6:03 pm^This, and the fact that Browns most productive RB went out last week for the season, and most importantly the way the run defense has played with Derrick Harmon active, it is reasonable to question how Cleveland will put points on the board today.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 3:38 pmTomlin is 27-6 against rookie QBs.

It is just the holidays Gonzo. They want to celebrate the holidays like everyone else does! Get extra days off…see their family and nieces and nephews, and friends. They should be allowed to enjoy the holidays like everyone else right?
Fuck no. You bitches are million dollar entertainers and you need to work extra hard on holiday weeks to put your A game on display for the bigger audience. You get paid obscene amounts of money. Go fuck off and whine to uncle Rodger about the hard long days of practice on holiday weeks and not getting g to see your nephew who has to wear a helmet, use one crutch, and tinkles in a bag!

i expected a tomlin special as wellsteelmann58 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 10:24 pmKnew this team was going to play way down today just a true Tomlin special
this game was based in 15 years of trends and tape
I am just pointing to a newish disturbing trend of QUIT and NO HEART ... it is IMO a function of Tomlin and this particular group of veterans .
i was particularly disappointed to see Shadeur Sandwrs appear to give a bigger shit than our entire team

To be fair he reinjured his groin making a spectacularly athletic adjustment to the ball that we haven’t seen from a Steelers TE in maybe forever.

Recipe for Tomlin's teams getting botch slapped:
- Prime Time other than MNF
- West Coast
- Thursday Night - especially in the division
- On the road in Cleveland
If he could have pulled out a win in ANY of those scenarios this season, the division is already locked up.
It's so frustrating.... every year we multiple games that we should easily win. This year it was imminently winnable games in Cleveland and Cincy. Argh!!!

No Darnell Washington to pushCKSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 7:08 pmI don't understand the getting away from the faux tush push shit. They showed it earlier? They've used it the entire second half of the season. They actually did something creative off it and gave the Browns something to think about when they run it.
But sure Tony, makes total sense to attempt that go route there on 4-1 rather than sticking with what's worked. The Steelers offense has just been connecting non-stop on those plays all year long...

After the game
“I don’t know whose bright idea it was to try me for the game on three plays in a row,” Browns defensive back Denzel Ward stated postgame

Is he saying Art Smith is an idiot, or a combo of Coach and Smith teaming up in stupidity. That's hilarious.
Does Tomlin have the intellect to see when things aren't working he can change things? I wonder.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

Yes, There are a couple of people who keep track of the opportunites and chart the percentage of success each QB has. The last time I saw the chart, it was in 2018 and recorded back to around 1985.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 8:05 pmIs there a stat that compares how often he is in that situation to the other QBs? He may not need to comeback as much as others. Idk. Just a thought.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 8:01 pmRodgers has the fewest 4th quarter comeback wins of any all time great QB. Let’s see what he does here with the season on the line
Andrew Luck was first, Brady 2nd, Peyton was 3rd-- but I believe Ben since has passed Manning and is currently 4th, because also since then Patrick Mahomes has taken over the top spot. Aaron Rodgers was 54th as of 2018 and might have barely cracked the top 50 now.

For a guy who got away with a DPI on the final play of the game, he should probably shut the fuck up. He was a guarding a guy who should be on the streets in MVS. There's nothing to crow about. At least 60% of the time that play gets flagged it not more.
