Just fuck this guy. Seriously. Did anyone listen?

That asshole said "Umm" at least 450x.
Our once proud franchise is now a dysfunctional mess with no end in sight.
I can't fathom how ownership doesn't see him as the problem.
We're completely fucked.

In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

Tomlin signed a three-year extension before the season that will keep him with the team through at least the 2027 season. He is the longest-tenured coach in the NFL and believed to earn approximately $15 million annually.

Nothing more to sayAsked for his message to any team that might be interested in possibly trading for him, Tomlin said this: “I have no message. Save your time.”

Mr Cliche at work now we get to hear Art next with more BS
I've said it before - Tomlin does NOT want to start over anywhere else. He's got a great gig that doesn't hold him accountable. Deep down, he truely knows he's unqualified to be a head coach for any team, but he's got Rooney fooled! He also knows that if he goes elsewhere, he would be fired within two season as he would completely be exposed for the scam he is. Nope, that's why he has insisted on a no trade clause, so at least he was smart there I guess.
Is it possible he consciously or unconsciously wants to get out of the playoffs early.
It's an early end to having to do any work, and he is a lazy ass.
He may manifest it upon himself without knowing.
This team needs an impartial sports psychologist squad to go in there with an unbiased part of ownership and change the mindset of the org.
Its a mess.

"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

If Tomlin is unqualified then so are 75% of the other coaches. I HATE the NHALS narrative, but that alone puts him ahead of most coaches in NFL history. That said, I can't wait for him to be gone.alancac98 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 1:15 pmI've said it before - Tomlin does NOT want to start over anywhere else. Tomlin is better than most who have coached in the NFL, far better than the Hue Jacksons and Adam Gases and Rich Kotites. But the problem is that Tomlin is in that tier of "Good but flawed and not truly great." He belongs mentioned in the same breath as Schottenheimer, Jeff Fisher, Marvin Lewis, and Mike McCarthy.StillerInCT wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 6:33 pmIf Tomlin is unqualified then so are 75% of the other coaches. To make matters worse, the national media treats Tomlin like he's in the same class as Lombardi, Noll, Walsh, Gibbs, and Belichick. Tomlin simply is not that good, but Rooney seems to have bought in to the national media hype. Tomlin did a good job the first few years he was here, but he has stayed far too long. The game has changed, but he hasn't. He is stale and tapped out, and it's time for him to go.

Belichick was FORCED out of New England because the relationship had run its course. After 6 Super Bowls he was asked to step down.
When you think you have had enough of this shit just try and wrap your mind around that then promptly wait for your fucking head to explode.

Saw the thread title and have not looked at anything yet.
It was a title I was looking for but holy shit that guy is so so so so however many etcetera shit not in reality (but that is why he is well compensated). Just ask him (he will tell you).
Heck, he may even tell you about Pat Fryer"Mehhhhs" paycheck he has brought that number up in the past (Yet never relies on the 48 million dollar Mehhh). Maybe Pat loves Mike because he gave him a gigantic paycheck and told him to don't worry about it. Sit on your ass we will throw a few balls in your mouth when we want to. [Season makes more sense now]

Next part of my brain while on rant mode.
Brooke Pryor asked him a few goodies but he didn't say shit. His ego was super deflated but guess what? The earliest possible exit is post 2026. The only recourse is a boycott and billboards.
Steelers' Mike Tomlin gives 'STALE' final news conference? Is he too comfortable?

What Brooke says at the 6:25ish mark is perfect and I cannot add much to it.
14 mins in when I found out that the strength and condition staff was hired out of Boston College (Dino Tomlin's) school. I was kinda like what in the actual fuck?????

Most of those coaches did not waste away the careers of BR7, AB84, LB26, CH97, TW90 ........ want more?StillerInCT wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 6:33 pmIf Tomlin is unqualified then so are 75% of the other coaches.
