Very weird stat about the Super Bowl and Alabama football

This is crazy. Will continue this year as neither Chiefs or 49ers have an Alabama player.

No player who ended their college career at Alabama has ever scored any touchdowns. Doesn't count passing touchdowns from example Stabler, Namath, etc.....

A running, receiving, or some type of return. Never

And it's not just touchdowns. No kicker has ever scored or defensive safety or something. SMH

Good reason not to draft skill positions from Alabama.

I find it hard to believe that neither team has an ALA player.

Gets back to the old axiom that if a Duke hoops draftee has the same skill level as another from S.W. Missouri St. draft the guy from the low reputation school where the system can't hide the flaws.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

Since i have nothing better to do....

Isaiah Buggs is actually on the KC practice squad now, and SF has a guy on IR that went to Alabama. But otherwise no, no Alabama players on either roster.

Also, for reference, SW Missouri State dropped the "Southwest" in their official name around 2005ish. It's just Missouri State now.
