Good one. But correction;

Giants got in last season then proceeded to beat the piss out of the Vikings in the first round, in Minnesota.

Then they paid Daniel Jones a big contract extension.

Now they suck.

Wil says, "It's amazing how much more aggressive Tomlin becomes when NAHLS is on the line."

Tomlin has been saying all season they need to score more points.

The difference seems to be Canada got shit-canned and two shitty QBs were no longer starting.

Tomlin is def conservative, but Tomlin's repeated comments that they need to score more points puts some pressure on the universally embraced board thesis that Tomlin is uninterested in putting points on the board.
“Being a fan is fine, but there is a line you can cross that makes it really unhealthy,” said Ken Yeager, PhD, a mental health expert in the department of psychiatry at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

I was specifically referring to passing in what would normally be a turtle, grind down the clock situation at the end of the game. That was totally out of character for Coach Tomlin. And that had nothing to do with scoring more points-- they were trying to run the clock out.

The difference in point scoring the past two weeks is: better playcalling, competent QB play, and extremely willing defenses.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh

Yeah, agree. I was listening while doing work and missed the context.

I’ll just add that Tomlin didn’t live in his fears on that particular play, the beautiful slant route to Pickens that was an ankle tackle away from being another long touchdown…

…but sticking with Mitch Trubisky after he looked absolutely terrible in a half against the Cardinals and even worse against the Patriots was living in his fears. We were up 13-0 on the Colts and proceeded to get walloped after that. If they give Mason all week to prepare for the Colts game I think we win that one running away and are sitting at 10-6 right now firmly in the playoffs.

But no, we had to stick with Mitch against the Colts because Tomlin and the coaching staff did a god awful job managing the QB situation this season.

Oh well, let’s see if they can pull something out of their asses in week 18.
