So, the Pats have cut every QB on the roster other than Mac Jones. Tomorrow's headline today: Mac Jones gets injured on the 2nd offensive drive of the 2023 season.

Morrissey C Houston, played with Johnny Marr Pickett at Pitt? Center-QB is a light that never goes out. Barbarism begins at home. Sorry, Smiths Jokes aren't funny any more.

Because Philly has zero punters. If they can swing a 7th or a 6th in exchange for a 7th that is great.

Did we trade away one of the damn punters yet?

Ian Crappaport is reporting we are getting DB Desmond King.
Solid pickup? I know nothing about him.

2022 Desmond King is exactly the player this roster needed: above average coverage in nickel with elite downhill abilities. Looking around, i’m seeing some people say King looked pretty ugly so far through camp, so possibly 2023 King is unfortunately not 2022 King. Will see.

My understanding is that Houston moved King outside and he was not good. I expect him to be nickle for the SteelersMick wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 3:42 pm2022 Desmond King is exactly the player this roster needed: above average coverage in nickel with elite downhill abilities. his first 4 years he played almost exclusively at nickel and slot the Houston moved him outside the last 2 years and his numbers basically swapped 90% outside to 10% inside. So he has the ability to play both inside and outside. I know he attacks the run from the slot. Maybe he takes Mike Hilton's role over.jebrick wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 6:38 pmMy understanding is that Houston moved King outside and he was not good. The only thing I know is he can do some of the Cam Sutton stuff as far as playing inside and out as a CB.
