I’m sad
Wish we had the Gray right now. With this defense and Ben this team would have had a chance. Its just been painful watching Rudolph and The Duck this season. Oh well, what could have been.

When she was giving the update on Ben....I was hoping for a Christmas miracle...he was secretly throwing.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 4:27 amWish we had the Gray right now. Now we have to watch his beard get longer.
He will be Forrest Gump and then one day he will start throwing and shave the beard!
Ben is an artist...can’t wait to see him paint again. He was put on earth for one thing...to be an NFL QB....and maybe to show what an awful beard looks like.

This is just a minor set back. They will win next week and perhaps at Baltimore. The journey is not over yet.

At least the team has been worth watching. Luckily they've played a lot of really bad teams but still, it could be a lot worse.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Sure it would be cool if we somehow get in the dance, but we are one and done if we do with this offense.
I'd still rather get thereStillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 4:37 amSure it would be cool if we somehow get in the dance, but we are one and done if we do with this offense.

It just really sucks when your offense has 5 turnovers and we lose by 7, with 2 chances to win at the end of the game. I sure hope we can find the money to keep this defense locked up for a few more years.

I am all for getting there, and if we do I will cheer like hell.
They wasted many years of Bens prime with their conservative and passive nature while NE traded, cheated and did whatever it took to win rings.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 4:27 amWish we had the Gray right now. Now they have to win 2 to get in while Tomlin basks in his coach of the year bullshit.

If they would have won tonight, he’d of been a lock for COY...not so sure now. Needs to play out as Collinsworth said.Suwanee88 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 4:46 amThey wasted many years of Bens prime with their conservative and passive nature while NE traded, cheated and did whatever it took to win rings.StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 4:27 amWish we had the Gray right now. All I'm saying is....if Ben WAS throwing, they ain't telling nobody until he's activated off IR....LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 4:32 amWhen she was giving the update on Ben....I was hoping for a Christmas miracle...he was secretly throwing.
B2B made the shaving the beard comment. A little too on the nose. Ben's agent is known to read this board. I'm raising my odds to 10% he starts the WC game.
That's right. Coded language - The Gray is coming back!!!!

Ben had just as much to do with wasting his prime as anyone else. Oh wait a minute, all those Ints he threw last year was Tomlin's fault. They wasted many years of Bens prime with their conservative and passive nature while NE traded, cheated and did whatever it took to win rings.

Well, losing games with a gimpy kicker WAS Tomlin's fault. And losing the game with a capable HOF QB sitting on his thumb WAS Tomlin's fault.SteelPowerful wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 5:03 amBen had just as much to do with wasting his prime as anyone else. So make sure to blame Belichick for the Pats' failures this year with that kicker bullshit you're talking about.

Failures? They are 11-3 and currently hold the all time NFL record for most consecutive playoff appearances. What failures are you talking about?SteelPowerful wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 5:39 amSo make sure to blame Belichick for the Pats' failures this year with that kicker bullshit you're talking about.

I am not familiar with you. Are you a Duck fan? Are you one of those Yinzer fucks who thinks this is a better team without Ben?SteelPowerful wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 5:03 amBen had just as much to do with wasting his prime as anyone else. I'm not sad. Team can't be sad. They can only be fucking raging angry. Like me! That seems the best motivation. This team sucks ass. The coaching staff is a fucking joke and the most angering part about it is this will not change. This franchise prides itself on having long lasting relationships with coaching staff, particularly head coaches. This is what we'll see over the rest of Ben's career. Winning Less with More! Should be used to it by now.
Yeah, multiple times last night, I was seeing #6 and thinking #7. Now we have a taste of life after Ben. This team has been remarkable in many ways, to be 8-6 and lead the leagues in turnovers and sacks on defense. IMAGINE if #7 was in there? because you realize our so called offense has only ONE.... ONE TD in 6 of the last 7 games. One thing for certain, when Ben's successor takes the field, Duck & Rudolph should be watching on TV. My hope is this D plays like this next year, with a healed Ben at the controls, then the dumbfuck Rooneys find a way too get a very, VERY HIGH draft pick, PAY BIG FOR IT, to take the BIG RISK that can go either way, of drafting a TOP QB prospect.

I would rather the Steelers go to the playoffs than not make the playoffs. That is a no brainer.
