ALCS: Blue Jays vs. Royals

Edinson Volquez mowing down the Jays in Game 1. Why can't we get guys like that?

Maybe the sour taste from his 2014 WCG performance? More likely it was this

Wow --- we may complain about our Buccos' skipper ( as is the God-given birthright of all Pittsburgh sports fans ;) ), but the Royals manager is making Hurdle look like a Rhodes Scholar ... Can't believe he left Cueto in the game to give up 7 runs before getting an out in the 3rd . . . was up to like 70 pitches and laboring with every batter.

He obviously had nothing tonight and was lucky to be only down 3 - 2 after the 2nd.

Final score was 11-8. Riding with Cueto cost the team the game.

Well the Royals are so strong they bounced right back from Yost's bout of temporary insanity yesterday, and absolutely destroyed the Jays 14 - 2 today -- just demolished them from the first batter to the last of the 9th, even forcing Toronto to use SS Cliff Pennington as a late-inning pitcher in relief of their depleted pen.

Once our Buccos choked away the WC, I haven't been really interested in the tourney, but I'm convinced that no one's stopping KC this year --- Mets or Cubs are going to get their asses kicked.

Game 6 tonight.

Royals leading the series 3-2.

Price is 0-7 with a 5.12 era as a starter in the post season. Will be interesting to see if he gets it done tonight for his team in this win or go home game for Toronto.

Wow. Still not over that loss. 0-12 with RISP. The ump was a cocksucker in the 9th inning with 2 horrid strike calls on Navarro and then an even worse one on Revere. Was planning on making the trek to kc for a jays/royals game 7 and then steelers/chiefs doubleheader weekend.
