Who is your first round pick as of today?
We’re about a month from the combine and a couple months out from the draft. Who is your target player or which list for round 1?
With WR being the biggest obvious need aside from a QB, I’ll go with Makai Lemon WR USC.

That would be standing ovation worthy!Steelperch wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 1:14 amWe’re about a month from the combine and a couple months out from the draft. Who is your target player or which list for round 1?

Would that require a trade up?Steelperch wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 1:14 amWe’re about a month from the combine and a couple months out from the draft. Who is your target player or which list for round 1?

Hard to say. I think he’ll be the 3rd WR off the board. They’re desperate for WR help. With all of those extra picks, why not drop a mid rounder to go up 5 spots to get him. I think there is a pretty big drop at WR after the first 3.Steeldrama wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 1:49 amWould that require a trade up?Steelperch wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 1:14 amWe’re about a month from the combine and a couple months out from the draft. Doubt he would be at the Steelers pick especially with the anemic qb depth. I chose LB Arvell Reese.

I'm team Makai Lemon as well, and i agree with trading up for him as well
I think they could trade down and get him but he is one of my favorites. Unless they trade up, I do not see a decent WR making it 21. Maybe Denzel Boston is worth it but a 1st rounder for a 4.5 guy is tough to swallow.Steeldrama wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 1:49 amWould that require a trade up?Steelperch wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 1:14 amWe’re about a month from the combine and a couple months out from the draft. Spencer Fano might fall but I doubt he makes it to 21 but I did not think DeCastrol would fall to the Steelers either.
Ioane is a player that will get talked about in the 1st round. 1st OG off the board in the 20s sounds about right.
I will toss out David Bailey(EDGE) He seems like a Steeler player. They could trade down and get him.

Makai Lemon for me too.
Problem is, he will test so well in Indy that we won't have a chance.
Lemon, David Bailey, and Emannual McNeil Warren are my favorite players in this draft.

In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

What about Chase Bisontis, Could he be a 1st RND selection?

What is the thoughts on Chase Bisontis?
BPA at CB or DL.
Going to need a guy very early and a guy later in the draft, yeah?Steelperch wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 1:14 amWe’re about a month from the combine and a couple months out from the draft. Who is your target player or which list for round 1?

MVS, AT = both going to be gone.
Ben Skro is here on Teams, maybe?
Really need to see what Roman Wilson can do with a competent coaching staff.
2 years of essentially no significant snaps to produce, and when he did produce in limited spots he immediately got grounded, sent to time out. and made a healthy scratch via MVS and Thielen getting signed.
I, along with everyone else here, is interested to see who is brought in for a coaching staff and their take on personnel.

Definitely need WR early and often, IMO, 2~3 this draft.
My question is regarding OT / OG.
I look at it as draft OT strictly and if you find someone who can play try Fautanu at LT or LG.
My opinion, we need a S badly, early, round 2 early.
Thoughts please

IMHO, this draft has several top end LTs prospects and a decent amount of developmental OTs. The OG depth is pretty good.
There are 3 top LT prospects, Mauigo, Lomu and Fano. Fano could also play RT.
The top Right tackles are going to be kind-of wiggly. Dunker (could also be a OG) Proctor(who should be a OG).
Now the best of the rest.
Caleb Tiernan has the footwork and technique to be a LT. For his size he is not a good run blocker so needs some development but his arm length might get him moved inside.
Isaiah World is a high ceiling/low floor type of tackle. Would be great to store on a roster for a year to develop. Very athletic but still developing technique and strength.
Austin Barber A zone blocking team will want Barber. Could be a year 1 starter on the right system. Needs strength.
Drew Shelton - Developmental LT prospect. Needs to add about 10-15 lbs of muscle
Monroe Freeling - another athlete that needs technique and strength. Again, developmental OT
Blake Miller - RT prospect. Could be a sleeper. Needs to be better at pass protection but a good drive blocker.
Diego Pounds - good pass protector with great size and good feet
