Adding Washington to go with Harmon would be fun, and possibly doable from our once again mediocre draft slot.
I would rather get K. McDonald from tOSU
Also likely doable from where we'd sit, and Drama might buy a new Steeler jersey.
If there’s a jersey I should buy it’s a Jordan Hancock Bills jersey. My first student to make an NFL roster
But yes by all accounts McDonald a great kid
My son and a lot of his former HS teammates talk to him via social media etc and are all now Buckeyes fans
My son transferred over to rival Buford HS and also raves about another teammate, Ohio State DT Eddrick Houston who might have a higher ceiling than McDonald but he won’t be draft eligible until next year

I'm now seeing the knock on Chambliss is that he was a 0 star recruit. Seriously? Some rank coming out of HS? I'll bet if you put Chambliss' tape and college B. Young tape side-by-side with the uniforms blanked, most people would choose Chambliss. I do not understand draft-niks getting worked up over a HS ranking. It has no relevance to how he is playing NOW.

Same with Cam Ward last year. I keep shouting it to the heavens... NFL teams start building their boards from the high school recruiting rankings. You have to do A LOT to get knocked down off that ranking and it's almost impossible to move up from there. Maybe it's a hair easier with NIL and the portal, but it's still unlikely.

It's a mildly silly practice, but if it drops the kid to an accessible draft point, and we've got a coach in place who won't ruin him, I'm all for it.

Chambliss heading back to Ole Miss.
I think the NFL and NCAA need to get togeather on the NIL money. It is leading to a lot of old prospects entering the draft. They will be way closer to their ceiling physically and less able to change bad habits. Wit the shorter practice times in the NFL, I think it will have a lot of failures or at least failures to improve.

Whoa. Unexpected. Do these guys not understand they'll never have a year where the supply/demand will push them up the scale?
At this rate, you're going to HJAVE to spend a top 40 pick to get Taylen Green, just because there are so few options.

I agree. Chambliss will be 25 when he enters in 2027 but he might also be competing with Manning, Sayin, ect.

There's actually been some scuttlebutt that Chambliss won't get his 6th year waiver, could be harder than previously thought.

I think he would be fine in the 2nd but we will see. Simpson has declared which kind of surprises me and not. He will be 23-24
Simpson is one I could see them getting then sitting him for a year. I also can see him going in the top 10 because a lot of teams need a QB

He's not a good choice for a Mike Tomlin team, and I have a hard time thinking he's a great choice for any team. Best case is Cousins/Goff and worst-case is closer to Kenny Pickett.

That bad fart smell is still sticking around
Beck is still a 3rd rounder at best but I'm sure people will push him up

I’m not a doctor but I think medicals are going to play a role in Becks final evaluation
Will his surgically repaired elbow improve as time goes on or is Carson now permanently stuck with subpar arm strength?

Chambliss is lucky two of his passes weren't pick sixes, they would be in the nfl.
Still I think Miss got robbed on the DPI noncall at the end of the game.

The CFP is at least 50% less fun without Chambliss in it.

And Chambliss is back in the draft. NCAA denied his waiver.
I still say 2nd round but it is a thin market

I read Chambliss is going to appeal the ruling.
Does this kid not want to play in the NFL?

He is wise to stay if he can.
He has talent but makes some high risk throws.

Oregon getting the shit kicked out of them in the 1st 1/2
I notice they are discussing how the rankings coming out of HS are not important. Hmmm

Well the first 3 picks in the draft are Raiders, Jets and Cardinals sooooooo
