NFL TV Maps - Week 2

Post by franco>madden » Wed Sep 14, 2016 5:13 pm

Well it's a grab-bag as to which of us asshats will be able to watch / record this Sunday's tilt against the Queen City Criminals on regular network TV -- chunks of the mountain-west and corners of the country will have 'alternate' programming . . .

PS. So I knew some viewers in SoCal would be getting screwed from time to time by the return of the Rams to LA --- fortunately doesn't affect the Stillers game this week, but I never knew that the late CBS game could be blacked out because of the Rams game being the late (and only) game on FOX, even if it sold out enough to be televised locally :?:
I'm envisioning some conflicts later this season for some of those late-Sunday kickoffs . . .

Not that I care that much, but why are most of Oregon and parts of WA being subjected to the Tits vs. Lions game?

I believe Steeler fans in the Philadelphia market will be extremely lucky this year.

It is quite possible that we will need links for only two games...week 14 against Buffalo and Week 17 against Cleveland.

Every other game should be on TV...or at least, there are no rules that will prevent all the other games from being on TV.

It's very nice the years we play the NFC East.

Stewart's Brewing Company will be missing out on some business this season.

That's IF the Philly affiliates decide to show all those games.

I simply pointed out the schedule breaks favorably so that only the Buffalo game absolutely CAN'T be shown (it's on opposite an Eagles' home game- when teams are at home, the other network is not permitted to show a game in their viewing region). I think the finale may fall into the same situation (Eagles are at home against Dallas that last week at 1:00) but a) I don't remember if they waive all those rules Week 17 and b) games might end up being flexed- if Wentz is better than advertised and the Eagles are contending, I could see their game with Dallas being flexed to Sunday evening.

All the other games are either evening games, games that don't happen at the same time, or games that when they occur at the same time as Eagles' games, the Eagles are away.

I am guessing the following games for sure will be shown in the Philly region:

Jets, Patriots, at Ravens, Cowboys, Giants

The only ones I'm not sure of are at Dolphins and both Browns games.
