Chickillo arrested and faces several charges

FARMINGTON, Pa. —
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Anthony Chickillo was arrested over the weekend, charged with simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment.

A law enforcement source tells Pittsburgh's Action News 4 the alleged incident involves Chickillo's girlfriend and that it occurred at Nemacolin.

Chickillo was arrested by Uniontown Pennsylvania State Police and arraigned this morning. According to the court docket, a $10,000 unsecured bail has been set, and he has a Preliminary Hearing scheduled for October 30.

Steelers Director of Communications Burt Lauten tells Pittsburgh's Action News 4"We are aware of an incident involving Anthony Chickillo last night and are still gathering information. Until we have further details we will not provide any further comments."

I'm not as down on Moncrief as some. The dude shouldn't have been on the field early in the season with a fucking dislocated finger.

He looks healthy now and made a catch last week some piece of shit like Switzer could try, uncovered, over and over in practice and he still couldn't make that catch.

Switzer never should have made this roster or any NFL roster for that matter.

Chickillo, like Switzer, is an oxygen thief and never deserved to be on any NFL roster.

Moncrief we need to cut down the road so we don't lose the comp pick for Bell, but I keep him until the very last minute.

They could've had Winovich in the draft who is a major upgrade over Chickillo but they were so scared when the Cheats came sniffing around that they jumped and overpaid for him. He could've walked with no downside to this team.
