I didn't have the balls to pick the NYG over Pats, but I do think NE is due for a WTF loss. Also, I continue to love Darius Slayton, rookie WR from Auburn.

Holy shit, that was the first TD pass the Pats have allowed all season. They gotta be cheating again somehow, their defense was hot garbage midway through the season last year, now they are the 85 Bears.

They've played 1 team (the Bills) that isn't in the bottom quartile in total offense.

Brady is 65 years old and I swear they run PA like 70 percent of all passes.

Why in the hell do we not run more PA???

Why is our OC the dumbest asshole in the league?

Apparently Ben doesn't like them. I thought I saw the young guys doing it, but I don't know how much.

And what explanation was given for why Ben doesn’t like them? It seems to get WRs and RBs streaking wide open. Ben doesn’t like that? Not sandlot-football enough for him?

Apparently he doesn't like to turn his back to the D to do PA, but there are versions where you don't have to, so who knows?

I'm sure I saw Mason do PA vs. the Seahawks and maybe another time, but I don't remember beyond that. It was remarkable to me that no sooner was Ben off the field then they called a PA for Mason.

Why does our team not stack up to NE or the better teams in the league? It’s one guy and it ain’t Tomlin. You know.

Tom Brady has dueled with quarterbacks Josh Rosen, Ryan Fitzpatrick, rookie Luke Falk, Josh Allen, Matt Barkley, Colt McCoy, and rookie Daniel Jones. In New England’s last five games, Bill Belichick has crossed brains with Brian Flores, Adam Gase, Sean McDermott, zombie Jay Gruden, and Pat Shurmur. It is frankly disgusting that the Patriots have not managed a better record against these bozos, and they’re undefeated! In six games, they have already faced four of the five worst offenses, by yards per game, in the whole damn league. No shit New England’s defense looks great! They’re playing against helpless little children out there.

Going forward, it should be illegal for the NFL to put AFC East opponents on the Patriots’ regular season schedule. It’s bad enough we have to endure Brady’s snake oil-aided permanence, and Belichick’s grimacing joylessness, without the Patriots also playing in the creampuffiest of creampuff divisions, and having their schedule front-loaded with actual roadkill. It’s not even over! New England’s Week 7 game, scheduled for primetime, is the second leg of their season series with those cursed Jets. Their Week 8 game will be the closest the Patriots have come in almost two full months to playing a team with any real preseason expectations, and it’s against the rapidly deflating Browns. There are adult recreation league flag football teams that could manage a winning record against this schedule.

It's pretty funny that article seems to blame the Patriots for the opponents that they play. Using that same scenario for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Mike Tomlin era, the team struggles, some mightily, with far lesser teams.

There’s little doubt that Tomlin coaches this team in the manner that the owner wants it to be coached. That’s why he got the job...he’s Cowher2.0.
I don’t know how you go about firing the owner...his job is even more secure than Tomlin’s. The Pope wishes he had the job security that these two have....

It’s also nice for Krafty, Belichick, Brady and the Pats that ole Rog managed to schedule in an extra bye week for them. Thursday to Monday...has any other team been given that bonus?

Glad you posted that article Jobu I was going to do the same. Yes, the Pats somehow get to play a really easy schedule this year and are likely on their way to win another ring. But that defense...I mean holy shit. They have scored more TDs (5) than they have given up (3). That pass to Golden Tate last night was the first pass TD they gave up all year. They have two blocked punts for touchdowns.

So what is that? That is just complete and utter dominance in all three phases of the game. Their coaching at this point is an outlier. I can’t think of another franchise (maybe the Saints in what they are doing sans Brees and perhaps the Chiefs/Rams because I am still very impressed with their systems) that is doing anything near what the Pats are doing.

I used to be pissed off about the ballwashing that goes on with the Pats, but at this point I have no other choice but to grab some popcorn and sit in awe with everyone else. This is a run of epic proportions and Brady, while a tad slower in the pocket, still looks like the second best QB in the league behind Mahomes.

I give up.

Except that you are wrong about the premise. The Steelers do not struggle an unusual amount with poor teams. It might seem like it when we're pissed about unexpected losses, but IIRC the Steelers were like 3rd best since 2007 vs teams that finished with a losing record under Tomlin.
