Once again this year, your podcast team is competing in a 32-podcast team LIVE Mock Draft via @NFLdraftfanatc Draft Professors channel. We will air edited episodes next week as part of the DraftExtravaganza week of shows, but this let's you see inside the room as the draft unfolds. Sometimes boring, sometimes insightful, some times you will laugh at our pain.

It's a 3-day event, Round 1 Thursday night April 9, Rounds 2-3 Friday night April 10, Rounds 4-7 starting 10am Saturday April 11.

Curious if Patrick Queen got to go back to college at his current age and throw a bunch of kids around like the incredible Hulk for a season or two, how excited would draft guys be for him as a prospect? “He’s a man among boys out there!” Yes. Yes that’s exactly what he would be. He’s pretty much the same age as Mesidor/Keionte Scott/Bud Clark.

Patrick Queen is 26 about to be 27 in August. Bud Clark is not yet 24––and this class might be the oldest average age of all time (blame NIL). Also, Bud Clark was great in his age 20 season.

Mesidor just turned 25 and Keionte Scott is about to be 25. Thing is, though, I don't think either were Kenny Pickett type shabby as underclassmen, AND I just need some plug and play now once I get to middle rounds.

Yes, of course, leaning younger for developmental propects and big swings early, but the draft is changing into fewer and fewer underclassmen and more and more WYSIWYG prospects.
