The Ravens / Steelers divergence in this cycle will be interesting to watch going forward. As similar as Tomlin and Harbaugh were, McCarthy + Staff couldn't be any more different than Minter + Staff.

i actually want to see every tomlin coach gone and watt and hayward.
those 2 were the biggest tomlin lemmings. i don’t want those 2 in the locker room undermining the new coach.
they have ‘.500 is good enough’ mentality all over them.

This man knows what he's talking about.
Heyward is too old now. Good bye.
Watt did piss all to earn his salary last season and of course he was hurt AGAIN! Good bye.

Heyward is actually doing something at the SB. As close as he'll ever get to being in one. A fact that probably doesn't even register with Scam.
Kind of funny to me to have an NFL guy doing some SB bit when the closest he's come to playing in one was getting blown out in his LONE conference championship appearance.

Cam was on IR during that 2016 playoff run so didn't even play in that AFCC game. Cam played in the Divisional round twice (2015, 2017), lost both times. Cam owes the only playoff win in which he ever participated (WC 2015) to Joey Porter.

The Ravens have one of the best FOs in the NFL.
The Steelers have the heaviest.

The Ravens have one of the best FOs in the NFL.
What is this based on?

I too have always thought the Ravens were a well run organization.
Better than YOUR beloved Steelers?
It's going to be a happy Friday so not going to debate that since neither franchise has sniffed a Super Bowl of late.
However, a quick google search told me that the Ravens only have TWO strength and conditioning coaches but your Steelers under new head coach Mike McCarthy have opted to now employ FOUR (Irony in there somewhere).
So looks like the goal is to be a BIGGER, more powerful team than the rival Ratbirds.
Because TWatt needs even more muscles to jog around with.
So we got that going for us.
Which is nice.

A lot remains to be seen but if McCarthy implements a staff of 40 + I’d salute him for it
One of the biggest problems the Steelers have/had is being saddled with the cheapest owner and the smallest staff

I'd be concerned if Falkner gave all our run play Intel to the Ravens.
, but
1. They've known our run plays for 19 years.
2. I would assume McCarthy will incorporate his whole new scheme, play design, calls, etc..
3. I'll assume Rooney did not mandate MM use the same scheme and calls as MT.
I'm positive on 1 and 2.
50/50 on #3...
But also assume Rooney expressed his desire for the Steelers to be run first orientated. Pound the rock

I'm not sure how much value a 3rd assistant strength training coach adds....
But at least we can stop with the BS excuse that Tomlin couldn't hire the right staff because of a cheap owner.

No we can’t
The fact is Tomlin had the smallest staff in the NFL
Cheapass Rooney
Couch McCarthy’s staff remains to be seem
