He seems like the church-going type of high class NFL playet who also got a very good college education at Maryland.

My favorite part of the story:

A woman that was working as a private chef filed charges on Dec. 22 after the alleged incident on Dec. 2, according to a police report obtained by ESPN. The woman told police that Diggs entered her bedroom and smacked her after they discussed money he owed her.

I just can’t understand why Diggs wouldn’t pay her for the catering services she provided. He has the money. He just signed a big, fat $69 million contract. And why didn’t he just visit her in her restaurant? Maybe the kitchen? Seems like a much better venue to discuss a catering-related squabble. To go all the way to her home and then barge into her bedroom like that? And slap her around for a lousy chicken parmigiana? How much was the bill?

Unless...

Exactly. Now if Diggs actually did any of what the accuser said he’s a dirtbag. BUT, and it’s a big BUT, there’s no evidence that he did. She only reported it 2 weeks after the alleged incident. She actually roomed at his residence, so he didn’t go far to confront her. She wants her money and he should pay her. She went this route and he needs to handle his business better than this mess.

Thing is Swiss knows this, cause he knows what’s up in NE. It’s just an attempt to bolster the narrative that was put up in the other thread. NFL fucks Steelers

I haven't followed that closely, but sounds like there is a lot more to this story.

Like, isn't it kind of weird to have a live-in chef? I could maybe see it for a professional athlete. But that seems like a really stupid situation to put yourself in.

It's also really bizarre to get that angry over just a disputed bill (if the strangling allegation is true). But I guess Antonio Brown had a habit of not paying people.

Also, if this woman really is a professional caterer and private chef, you'd expect there to have been a contract stipulating wages and reimbursed expenses.
