Ward and Harrison are probably never getting in. Both are deserving. I’d take Harrison’s career over Kuechly in a heartbeat. Ward over the second best receiver on the Greatest Show on Turf Rams and same for the 2nd best WR on the Peyton Manning Colts. Frank Gore was a nobody stat accumulator for his entire career. Ward put up HOF numbers on a run heavy team with shitty QBs until the back half of his career.

Agreed. TD making the HoF takes away any argument against James Harrison, and Ward's arguments for induction are just as good as Holt and Wayne.Steelperch wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 6:49 pmWard and Harrison are probably never getting in. Yes. on Harrison over Kuechly...who only played 8 years.Steelperch wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 6:49 pmWard and Harrison are probably never getting in. Both are deserving. Be a real damn shame if Kuechly gets in before LC.
Frank Gore on the Cowboys instead of Emmitt....and Gore is at the all time leading compliler insted of Emmitt. and Emmitt is waiting to get in.

It's been my case for a number of years: If Art Monk is in, then Ward HAS to be in. Both great blockers in run heavy offenses and made the most of their limited targets.W&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 7:25 pmAgreed. Ward - SB MVP. Rule named after him for terrorizing D's. Nuff said
Obliteration Is Imminent
A very long time ago I broke down Hines Ward in the post-season versus the big WR's of the era. He had more production in the playoffs than Moss or Owens. I'm not saying he was better, but the guy was clutch as fuck and he was in some respects harder for defenses to take away given the style of his game.
If you put him on the Peyton Manning style Colts offense he'd have had the pinball numbers and he'd be a slam dunk to make it at some point.
