Ok we win the Norf, rank our chances in a home playoff game vs the possible opp’s
We could host:
Chargers
Bills
Texans
Of those 3, I only see the Chargers as a possible win. You know…..those pesky playoff wins….last seen around these parts on Jan of 2017. One would think a first ballot HOF coach wouldn’t have such a Marvin Lewis-like void but what do I know.
Bills would demolish us, Texans are just solid and I think underrated as an AFC “power.” They’d also kick our asses but prob not as badly.
Chargers? Maybe. I could see it. Us healthy, winning TO battle and playing classic “play not to lose” Tomlin football.
What say you Fury? Can you see us jizzing all over any of those teams?

Not jizzing, but I agree. Close win against Chargers with a help of Boz´s leg.. yes.
Bills? 3 weeks ago they spanked us. At home.
Texans - probably not an anal rape, but still walk in a park for them. Our O vs their D - you don´t wanna see that as Steelers´ fan.
Which team has the best chance of putting up 40+ on Jibba’s most expensive defense in the history of football??

I I think Steelers would have a legit shot against Chargers at home.
Against the others, I would fantasize myself into believing. And I actually think a fantasy worth to come true it'll be more likely against the bills than against the Texans, which right now are fucking scary.

In order of possible victory
Chargers- Harbaugh likes to run a fairly conservative game plan, which fits into dopey they owl's general philosophy
Bills- The Bills could easily boat race this team, or take them too lightly, due to the ass whipping from a few weeks ago. The Steelers seemed completely disinterested in playing that game, so maybe a play off game goes a little better. Plus Josh Allen has been turning the ball over more than normal, this season.
Texans- this is a schematic mismatch. The Texans strengths and tendencies are the areas the Steelers struggle.
That being said, the Colts typically are a schematic mismatch for this team as well, and the Steelers managed to stop them- albeit with a bunch of turnovers.
Anywho- I stand by my general belief that barring Tomlin changing his tune, we'll see the standard ass kicking, should they manage to get in the playoffs.

Is Tomlin still the coach? Are we running his defense? Put me down for 0.0% chance and that may be too high.

In order of preference:
1) Texans. Steelers have been falling behind big early in the playoffs. A Texans-Steelers game is likely a dogfight. a 16-13 type of affair. I prefer the Steelers chances in this type of game. 60/40 Steelers
2) Pats. If they somehow end up losing the division to the Bills. Vrabel a great coach. But they are still young. And they seem to share the Steelers poor 2nd half performances. 50/50 game
3) Chargers. Something about this team. I think their D can shut down the Steelers, and Herbert will make the Josh Allen type plays on 3rd down. 60/40 Chargers
4) Bills. Hard to beat a team the 2nd time, especially when you put a chip on their collective shoulder. But Allen just makes so many plays. 75/25 Bills
