MNF - How Tomlin could end up being the Grinch

Post by Jizz Mop » Wed Dec 10, 2025 8:27 pm

Yuuuuuuuuge win last Sunday, bigly….

Granted it was gift wrapped by the refs, but hey a win is a win, right?

(don’t ask me that because I may be a little too negative for some poster’s here)

But yes, Steelers win and are in 1st place! Exciting!

Now here come the Miami Dolphins…..Tua and Minkah. Dolphins playing actually ok of late. Anyone check out the betting line? Vegas has us as a 3-point favorite, AT HOME, on MNF against the Fish. Little surprising for a team coming off a YUUUUUGE win on the road vs our hated rival don’t you think?

We control our playoff fate at this point. Granted it’ll be the right to play an extra game in January and get their asses kicked, but they (right now) control their destiny.

A loss to Miami would be soooooooo Mike Tomlin…..it’s a real scary possibility to give away what little momentum they have after being handed a win in Baltimore.

I don’t know what our plans are at LT, but typically key injuries like that can really impact your gameplan and ability to win.

Unless…..UNLESSS……UNLESS you are the Steelers opponent and just say you’re missing 2-3 starting offensive lineman or your whole starting LBer crew is out, then it doesn’t matter. We have no one in a coaching capacity to take advantage of what should be “a perceived advantage.”

So what do you think Fury fuckers? Do we jizz all over the Dolphins on a national stage, or do we shit the bed and let Baltimore back in it. (Assuming of course they beat Cincy)

All I’m saying is that this is the type of game Tomlin loses…coming off a bigly win only to come out flat and embarrass the fans under the big lights in front of the entire country.

For what it’s worth I’m picking the Steelers to win, but I think the margin of victory will be very small.

We can start a Go Fund Me for those posters. The money can be used to purchase Kleenex and Tampons.

Come here for sunshine & puppy dogs but instead see some negative shit bout Jibba Jabber. Well, here’s your Kleenex and a tampon since reading negative opinions about Jibbs somehow lessens your ability to enjoy posting bout the Steelers.

Boo hoo

Losing to Miami in inclement weather would be pretty entertaining. I may just jizz in my pants if it happens. Tomlin has done it before in the infamous game where that moron Antonio Brown couldn't stay in bounds.

The only thing that gives me pause is the Steelers under him have been legitimately good at home on MNF. All streaks come to an end at some point, though.

Kind of like how we beat the Patriots one week to take co tell of the AFC only to lose to the bottom feeder Raiders the following week.

You know, the game where the idiot Jibba Jabber thought he was putting “time pressure” on Gruden by letting the clock run.

Meanwhile, Gruden knew he had all the damn time in the world given he was camped out on our goal line and either scored the TD or lost. The only “time pressure” being applied was what Jibbs put on himself.

Then the idiot doubled down and sent Boz try a FG on a soggy field as time expired. All the while still having a damn time out in his pocket.

And yet there are posters here that snivel this place is too negative for them.

Ok. If you are that fragile of a person then go post on a Steelers board full of blind homers that’ll blow sunshine up your ass despite all the stupid shit this coach continues to put on tape.

Coach Tomlin is 21-3 on Monday nights.

Color Rush uniforms.

At home.

Cold weather.

And if healthy the Steelers should win without drama or nail biting.

When was the last time we’ve had a decisive win? I honestly don’t recall

Never fear, Steelers will be wearing the all black color rush uni's and the endzone's will be painted yellow, no way they lose with all that juju on their side.

I'd be concerned except that Tua turns into a pumpkin in cold weather. The high in PIttsburgh is 23 degrees on monday. With an 8:15 kickoff it'll be in the teens.

Tomlin's "don't turn it over" and "don't put the D in a bad situation" philosophy should work on Monday. Assuming they don't give up 200 yards on the ground. Wait . . .

How could anyone forget Tomlin's revenge game against a 47 year old Joe Flacco? The one where James Pierre - a guy cut by Tomlin repeatedly who has never made another teams final 53 - outplayed his high priced FA CB's and 2nd round draft pick?

Even in that comfortable victory there were people moaning and groaning. I think somebody was even complaining about the sunglasses Tomlin wears. Poor guy gets it on here when he loses or wins.

Incredibly decisive, collectively decisive.

Like Patton leading his troops over a flailing Joe Flacco.

BAL isn't very good and I always expected a split with them. I just didn't think PIT would win in BAL.

We'll see what happens with MIA, but when I predicted 9-8 I also assumed a split with DET/MIA.

Like it or not, Tomlin is money in MNF games at home.

The Dolphins aren't really good either.

We're going 2-2 the rest of the way. Wins vs Mia and Cle. Losses to Det and Balt
I'm putting my money down for this parlay.

I'm hopeful they do better. 10-7 or even running the table 11-6. No one really knows which Steelers team will show up on any given game day.

Well, no TJ Watt for the season (if that comes to pass) would be a handy excuse for NHALS ending. Much like losing Ryan Shazier.

Oh don't you worry. Tomlin already has excuses at the ready:

1. Austin is bad at his job (even though it's Tomlins defense)
2. Lost our starting LT
3. Injuries to DBs
4. Hell, he might even throw Arod under the bus and say he underperformed

Previously, the Ravens victories are slobberknockers, but Sunday’s game was such a finesse ref victory they should be fine with energy levels. I could see Minkah sticking it too us.

My early Christmas gift would be Minkah with 2 pick sixes and a loss and Kenny Pickett with a 500 yard six passing TD game victory against Giant Eagles, culminating in the biggest boo fest and a Tuesday morning firing.

That won’t happen…so I can see Lucy getting out of her car at my high school field…she is wearing a tight bikini top holding a football and a kickers block! She is a siren damn it! I will probably start getting sucked in, especially if it means home field advantage at some point.

Did you see Friday's injury report? I have a hard time seeing them winning this game with 1/2 the defense not playing.
