(DeepFake) Rodgers retired
Not charmed by Tomlin or Rooney apparently

Saw he left the Steelers facility no contract yet. I don’t see anywhere stating he’s retired.
Listening to NFL Radio they haven’t broken in with any news of it either

Who knows, it might be a deepfake since not reported on bleacher or ESPN.
My apologies if it is.

Thanks for clarification. Deepfakes are definitely going to be a constant problem going forward.

Steelers Depot says he left the meeting with no conclusion.

Good point. Or when he signs. Or when he has a bowel movement.

Seems like with MIN out, and WIlson supposedly to NYG, that if Rodgers was going to sign AND he was here today, it would have happened.
Honestly, if Rodgers is thinking about retirement but also wanting absolute top dollar, then you have to walk. Dude just wants to pad his bank account and stats. DO NOT SIGN.
Pretty sure you got that one

One good thing about the potential of signing Rodgers, he managed to get his last head coach fired
I am actually hoping they do bring in Rogers. He isn’t an I’ll take one for the team type player.
If shit is going south he won’t sit quietly, especially if criticism is being directed at him. He will speak his mind. Won’t be one of Jibba’s “yes men” like Cam Heyward and TJ Watt.
Love it.
Bring it on. And make it expensive so we look even dumber and even more desperately pathetic than we already do.
They say Fields is a dumb QB. At least the kid was smart enough to get the hell away from offensive derelict Mike Tomlin.

For my money, Aaron Rodgers is the best pure passer of the last 30 years. He will always want to show off that skill as long as he has it.
What has to be weighing on his mind right now is whether he can endure all the other hysteria, madness, chaos and sideshows that are unrelated to using his God given ability on the gridiron, or find a team where he can mitigate quite a bit of that. If he believes Pittsburgh is that football haven then he is going to want to continue playing.
As someone who can hold a grudge with the best of them, I don't for him defeating Pgh in XLV. A grudge was not ever warranted against him. He was the best player in the stadium that day, and would not be denied.
Rodgers can make some amazing things happen with a football. If he wants to play for the Steelers, no one could deny that the games would carry high entertainment value.

There is no denying his talent but, never been a fan. However I would watch just to see the two douches (MT and Rodgers) engage in some heated on field unhappiness. Why would Rodgers want to come here anyways..I mean he HAS to know Team Rooney, Tomlin and Smiths game plan. Even if he got this team rolling the resident genius will try to neuter him. He also has to know and that his ancient ass would likely get demolished behind our sorry O line. But yeah, the Jerk Bowl could be entertaining.Steel Bingo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 12:40 amFor my money, Aaron Rodgers is the best pure passer of the last 30 years. Something no one has mentioned - Rodgers is shockingly low on game winning drives and comebacks. Though now maybe he's played long enough to bump that into respectable territory.Steel Bingo wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 12:40 amRodgers can make some amazing things happen with a football. And also tends to finish like he starts, which is another problem for a team that likes to start slow and try to win Q4.
Rodgers might actually be a HORRIBLE fit for how Tomlin wants to win games. Which is why we need to sign him!
