Dulac is reporting that RW was cleared medically two weeks ago, so for the Chargers game.
I tend to think he could have at least gone in Indy but the Chargers game was arguably JF’s best game of the season.
It’s a mess.

What about our other R Wilson? You know, the WR we so sorely need?

Not sure when they signed Brandon Johnson to the practice squad, but if a healthy Roman Wilson can’t get a helmet instead of him, that’s not good, sounding like a wasted draft pick, and this getting on a moving train Tomlin is spewing about it is horse shit.
He's obviously healthy enough to play, but Fields was just successful enough running this neanderthal offense to where they weren't going to bench him. Two straight losses may change that and Mediocre Mike will try to sell it as a health thing.
Wilson isn't going to save this team so I don't fucking care.

But if he's healthy enough to play, then WHY is he still relegated to emergency qb. Are we to believe that Kyle allen is better ? (He DID throw the best pass of the night).

The media is destroying Tomlin and Fields today (well mainly about the offense).
I don’t know if Tomlin will formally announce it tomorrow at the presser but I have a feeling #3 is under center in the desert.
Grab some popcorn!

Amazing how Brandon Johnson was able to jump on a moving train?StillerDownSouth wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 8:25 pmNot sure when they signed Brandon Johnson to the practice squad, but if a healthy Roman Wilson can’t get a helmet instead of him, that’s not good, sounding like a wasted draft pick, and this getting on a moving train Tomlin is spewing about it is horse shit.
Maybe riding in the bed of a pickup while another practice squad buddy was driving at the trains speed.
Maybe a hobo riding in a car with door open.... reached out and grabbed his arm?
"What the hell is going on out there"
In all seriousness...
May he dropped from a helicopter on top of the caboose

I've said over and over it's the NHALS fornula: 5 weeks in, defenses have some film on Fields and start adjusting then BOOM Tomlin switches QBs. Grab some low hanging fruit while defenses sit on their heals in fear thinking the Steelers might suddenly run an explosive, vertical offense with the new QB.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 8:37 pmThe media is destroying Tomlin and Fields today (well mainly about the offense).

Then after another 4-5 weeks if Wilson isn't notably better they'll switch back to Fields. And again exploit defenses that, inexplicably, act like that first 5-6 weeks of tape on Fields doesn't exist.
Easier to keep defenses guessing switching QBs than to, you know, run a dynamic offense. But it works for NHALS, and that's the goal!
The way Fields runs he is going to have his brains scrambled sooner rather than later.
I thought Tua ran like a moron, this guy might be worse.
