Ravens peaking; Steelers crashing

Post by TimmayLake » Thu Dec 26, 2024 12:28 am

Ravens are red hot right now and might be Super Bowl favorites. Steelers can’t fight their way out of a rotten paper bag. 10-7 and a WC exit blowout loss seem inevitable. What the heck happened? I guess this means Tomlin isn’t winning Coach of the Year?

Tomlin happened. He’s a POS. Loser ass coach that is nothing more than a glorified cheerleader.

Other coaches know it. Easiest game for most teams.

We’ve lost by three scores three straight weeks!

And KC was so gettable this year/today and we still couldn’t win!

I think what happened, moreso than anything else was that the defense was never all that. Then add in the Pickens injury. I'm not writing them off completely

Yep. Huge reason he has no coaching tree. No one even wants to poach a guy to pick their brain on schemes. Because nothing they do is innovative or challenging.

It never is under Tomlin.

Every team in the division has won a playoff game more recently than the Steelers. The franchise is on its longest streak of seasons without a playoff win since 1972. The fan base has lowered expectations and largely lost faith the team will ever win anything of note under the current coach. The owners just extended that coach again this past off-season. The defense first head coach gets torched vs every top offense and every playoff opponent.

If you aren’t celebrating NHALS at this point, you are just a glutton for punishment because that is all there is for you. Owners aren’t going to address the real problem, coaching staff isn’t capable of fixing it.

Best from ray fittipaldo of the pg...."Arthur smiths penchant for playing Patterson is bordering on weird,"!talking about inserting him on 3rd & 3 and giving him the ball

The fact that LJ, front runner in the MVP race is at around 3 to 4% body fat at this point, so skinny his pants were falling off last week, and is getting to NBA body size territory, and has not been hurt tells me it is time for a revolution in body size and speed in the NFL and on the Steelers especially.

We have the doughiest group of guys and we have other guys who are thick unnecessarily.

What does Minkah need that extra weight for at this point? Might as well drop 20 pounds and get a tenth on your 40 time.

Patterson too heavy!! No benefit for him or the team with his weight.

Williams is too heavy as well.

Muth is too slow. He could lose weight.
Russ is fricken pudgy. He could drop 25 pounds and pick up decent speed.

Troy got pudgy in his last year.

They need to look at their weight and nutrition program!

This isn’t Prime Ben AFC North ball any more. We need speed and we don’t have it often because players are carrying too much weight!
