Welp that’s probably it for this year without a lot of help
The Steelers need serious help at C T and G
The dont have a single WR on the roster who has a championship quality mindset
They desperately need a 3rd quality RB
They have the worst starting QB in the nfl and by far the worst QB unit as a whole in the nfl
On defense they have exactly 1 DL who might be something here in 2 or 3 years
They have 2 good DBs
They have some talent on the LB unit but it’s not enough to compensate for the rest of the team
If I’m part of the brain trust I wouldn’t change much and hope to bottom out again next season
This team just doesn’t have near enough player talent

TOMLIN IS A FUCKING FRAUD

Root for 7-10. It's what we need. It's what we deserve.

I’m gonna post more later but the short answer is this……
Most of you on this site struggle to be honest fair and capable of higher level thinking in regards to football
Tomlin has his flaws. They are far less than most of the complete bullshit heaped on him here
At the end of the day it’s his team on the field and it hasn’t been this bleak in over 2 decades
That probably speaks more to the incredible run we’ve all been blessed with for a long time moreso than massive “fraud”
When Tomlin moves on I will embrace the new regime. The coaching carousel is an unforgiving bitch. I hope the next guy keeps us off it. Usually they don’t

1) New young OC from a legit NFL coaching bloodline
2) New QBs- vet and draft pick
3) ILB- the guys we have are frail. Need a defensive QB.
4) Center - Mason Cole is killing us
5) SS - Neal is stiff and injury prone. Kazee is a dimeback.
6) WR - replace Diontae and his horrendous attitude
7) DL - need another young killer to help Heyward to transition to role player
8) CB - Need to replace Levi Wallace
I could keep going but you get the idea. This isnt a quick rebuild. Never was going to be. Only way out is for one or two of these additions to be a Watt-like freak.

He’s done. We can fling shit if he keeps parading around this bullshit year after year.
Just walk away Mike and count your cash. Stop dragging this franchise in the mud with you. You were never a great coach. You are a rah rah dude that walked into the best coaching situation imaginable.
It’s over Johnny. It’s over!

1. I think the Steelers REALLY need to put a massive effort into getting a new outside the Steeler box OC. I think the chances of that happening soon are slim
2. I agree but I doubt it will happen outside of replacing Rudolph and that very well could be McSorely
3. I like our guys to a point. Injuries are part of that position. You just hope you get some luck to survive the season. Sometimes you do. Sometimes you don’t. I’d love to draft the next Shazier. It’s not at all easy. Even with a top 1st round pick. I think the guys we have are good enough not to reach. We haven’t had that level for several years now. Let’s not fuck it up with so many must needs on the table
4. I agree. I do not see a 1st round talent at center this year and I’m not crazy about the class as a whole. I could live with reaching in the 2nd and later given how bad we are currently
5. We need help at SS but we need premium help. A 6th rounder at SS is an instacut. Only so many areas you can improve in one year
6. The entire WR unit has issues. You can’t just unload EVERYONE. I’d like to see a good draft pick WR happen before I jump outta the WR frying pan and into the fire
7. I agree
8. Porter is everything and more than we were promised in the draft. Everyone else in the CB room ?? Definitely upgradeable
