Final Record?

Post by Jizz Mop » Mon Nov 20, 2023 2:17 am

I actually read someone post we could go 13-4 or 14-3 if we beat Cleveland.

Jesus Christ.

Anyway, put me down for 9-8.

Another NHALS! Release the pigeons and balloons!

3 wins, 4 losses to close out this POS season with us thankfully missing the playoffs is my prediction.

I’m embarrassed to watch our offense. We all probably are. I’ve never seen anything like this. And I’m getting old and grumpy and I don’t have the patience to see the same shit week after week.

I listened to Tomlin’s post game conference. What a fucking idiot. If you’re a hardcore, knowledgeable fan and came away from his conference saying “that’s my guy”, you’re as fucking ignorant, clueless and stupid as Tomlin.

“Pathetic” defines this season. Smoke and mirrors explains the 6-4 record.

We are screwed until major coaching changes are made and some seriously tough personnel decisions are made.

I agree except I predict an 8-9 record.

9-8. Another winning football year but no playoffs again.

If they keep trotting out Lil Ken at QB1, then 7-10 is more likely than 10-7

The bolded above, I'll never understand. WHY would any so-called Steeler fan NOT want his team to make the playoffs, to watch them play second week of January rather than sit home and watch 12 other teams. And....if you think it's because somehow Mike Tomlin would be fired....well, that ain't happening.

I posted it, and I stand by it. Show you can win vs that defense on the road, look at the weak-ass schedule ahead of them and you could put 11 or 12 wins in pen.

Show that you can't beat a 3rd string rookie who only led his team to 13 points... well, now the rest of the season is sketch, even vs teams they should beat.

And if the team morale implodes like it seems like might be happening... look out below!!!!!!!!

Swiss, nobody is really hoping they lose. Just frustration pouring out. Every one knows there will not be huge staff changes without a complete collapse. And I think we all see the need for change. Even you deep down.

I'd even be willing to keep Tomlin, if he'll consider working with a entirely new coaching staff chosen & hired by the GM combo.

The staff is a joke. A bad dream.

I think next weeks game in Cincy will either make or break the season, this team is one more shitty offensive performance away from self implosion, I'm getting the feeling many of the offensive players are out on the coaches, including Tomlin, already.

Oh!! I've been saying for the past decade that Tomlin should be gone. Also said for the past decade that he has better job security than the Pope.

Given that's the case, I want him to be successful.

But...always said, he's a Gameday Dumbfuck who's greatest gift is an exceedingly well-developed line of bullshit.

Problem is this, I think. Today's game, IMO, was the more winnable of the two. I'm guessing Zach Taylor has his backup QB well prepared for next week. Even if Steelers lose though, they could def take the next three and be 9-5 heading into the final trio of the seson.....and one win there yields a playoff spot...I think.

This is the worst offense Mike Tomlin has ever coached, but the remaining schedule is a joke. If he manages to not lose the roster, NHALS prevails.

NHALS has pretty much always placed the Steelers in position for the 6th or, if it existed, a potential 7th seed. There was only one season I believe in the Mike Tomlin era where they weren't at least top 7 in the AFC.

I was at 9-8 at the beginning of the season.

I was at 9-8 and then I looked at yesterday as a chance to break out from the 9-8 to a better record solely because of how other teams’ rosters have panned out.

If we had won yesterday, I would have been comfortable predicting 12-5 or maybe even 13-4.

Now I am back to 9-8 and no playoffs.

The Colts game will be interesting. Remember they put up 33 on the Browns. They are being Qb'ed by the player I thought was KP's ceiling but now I worry that Zach Wilson is his ceiling. Expect the NE game to be much like the Browns game. There are no "easy" wins in this schedule. Only games that they should win.

8-9 at best

I honestly believe this will be the year NHALS dips below .500

Players are fed up and he’s dangerously close to losing this team - if yesterdays pressers and interviews are an indication.
