I wonder if Kahn has any one else on the horizon before the draft

Need to add a FA WR after the draft.

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21590

Hoping for a more NFL ready, 3rd or 4th round guy that maybe lands to us.
A trade down would help us pick up another 3rd or 4th.

Steelers are thin at WR.

Pickens and Dionte at #1 and #2.

After that alot of questions at for #3, 4 and 5.

Austin, Gunner, Cody White, Anthony Miller.
The guys currently on the roster and competing for these spots
have combined for 6 catches and 12 over the last 2 years.

Calvin Austin has not played a down. Can he stay healthy?

Gunner, thats a win for opponents if he is lined up on offense. 5 catches for 53 yards in 2022 long of 31, 8 carries for 39 yards, long of 18.....
I am not gonna say take away the long catch or run, but if you do so, and do the math.....the other 4 catches averaged 5.5 yards and the other 7 carries averaged 3 yards.

Cody White. 6 catches in 2 years.

Anthony Miller, Can he stay healthy. 1 catch in 2 years in Pittsburgh.

Pickens and or Dionte go down for a game or two..........utter mess at who will be on the field and how easy we will be to defend.

I would think they add a FA after the draft.

AND WR could / should be in play at 32 and 49.

You can hate our wr depth after pickens/dj, but that doesn’t make the FA options out there any better.

They’re looking at a lot of WRs, appears to be focusing on either the 3.80 or 4.120 pick. Almost no interest shown in the WRs expected to come off the board in the 32-49 range.

Edge appears to be the biggest potential FA move; i think what they go for there will depend on who they take in the draft; if they get a Van Ness or Uzomah, they’ll fill out with a FA scrub. If they don’t get to Edge until later, they’ll bring in someone more significant (would have been Dupree).

Free agent WRs still avaiable.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents ... eiver/all/

Golladay, Cobb, Julio Jones, Jarvis Landry, Watkins, Perriman are some notables.....

Two lesser know guys had better years than any of the above...

Olamide Zaccheaus
has a much better resume than Gunnar and can compete with Austin if he can not stay on the field.
Decent numbers in 2022
40-533 - 13.3 - 3
Some punt and KR in 2021

4 years in the NFL 94- 1328 - 14.1 - 8.

Gunnar has 14 career receptions for 180 yards and 1 TD...in the same 4 years.
Garbage time 4th q. TD in a 45-0 blowout
Same game he had his only other TD...70 yard punt return.

Chris Moore.
48-548-11.4 - 2

Demarcus Robinson
48-458 -9.5 - 2

General FA/league news, 255 mill for Jalen Hurts. Not sure what this does to the soap opera down Baltymore way, but the Ravens got leapfrogged.

Edit: 5 years, so average of 51 per, highest paid player in NFL history (though they all get to be for a season or so after one of these).
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
