Monty Python - Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life

So what has gone right after 2 exhibition games for the Steelers.

Kenny Pickett is the real deal
We had a really good draft class
Marvin Leal is going to help sooner rather than later
Robinson may be a real find
We have a well stocked QB room
We have more receivers than we can keep
The D Line is deep and talented
Witherspoon looks like a keeper
The punter looks much better
We may have a good running back roster

I know the O Line sucks so far. I think we need to sit Green, help Moore until he settles down, and have a little patience with Daniels. He has shown he is a good guard. I think he will improve. If they can just suck less, I think we will surprise people.

If you want me to go on arguing, you'll have to pay for another five minutes.

You didn't argue.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

He must be a quarterback!
How can you tell?
He doesn't have shit all over him.

Robinson may be a real find.
He jumped off the screen watching the highlights today! Wow…talk about some closing speed. It looked as if he could run anyone down in the league. Will be watching what they do with him!

I saw a lot of poor communication during the game last night. Jax front seven seems pretty stout. I think there was no trust with the handoffs from guard to tackle and vice versa. I saw guys being passed from guard to tackle but just going thru the motions and not checking to see if they checked them over enough or if the tackle had too much on his plate.

Max Starks said week 4 until they start gelling in post-game last night. Fingers crossed.

You didn't argue.
This isn't an argument!
Yes, it is
No, it isn't. It's just contradiction
No, it isn't
Yes, it is. You just contradicted me
No, I didn't
Yes, you did
No, no, no
You did just then
That's ludicrous
Oh, this is futile
No, it isn't
I came in here for a good argument
No, you didn't. You came in here for an argument
Well, argument isn't the same as contradiction
Can be
No, it can't
An argument is a collective series of statements intended to establish a proposition
No, it isn't
Yes, it is. It isn't just contradiction
Look, if I argue with you. I must take a contrary position
But it isn't just saying No, it isn't
Yes, it is
No, it isn't. Argument's an intellectual protest
Contradiction just the automatic opposite of any statement the other person makes
No, it isn't
Yes, it is
Not at all
Now, look-- (Bell dings)
Good morning
What?
That's it. Good morning
I was just getting interested
I'm sorry, the five minutes is up
That was not five minutes
I'm afraid it was
Oh, no, it wasn't. (Argument professional looks around the room)
I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to argue anymore
What?
If you want to go on arguing you'll have to pay for another five minutes
But that was not five minutes, just now. (Professional whistles) Oh, come on
If you want to continue arguing, you must pay for another five minutes
Oh, fine. Here
Thank you
Well?
Well what?
That was not five minutes, just then
I told you, you have to pay
I just paid
No, you didn't
Yes, I did
No, you didn't
I don't want to argue about that
Well, you didn't pay
Ah, but if I didn't pay, why are you arguing? Aha! Got you
No, you haven't
Yes, I have. If you're arguing, I must have paid
Not necessarily. I could be arguing in my spare time

You can’t wield supreme ability to seal the A-gap because some shades-wearing imposter lobbed a high draft pick at you!

So what has gone right after 2 exhibition games for the Steelers.

Kenny Pickett is the real deal
We had a really good draft class If we swapped Pickens and Pickett in the 1st and 2nd everyone would be happy as hell. We still got both so I am satisfied with that.
Marvin Leal is going to help sooner rather than later He seems to get some good penetration and disrupt plays haven't seen him finish off plays yet but it will come
Robinson may be a real find Has nice wheels and I bet Flores will help him get up to his full potential (at least I am hoping so.
We have a well stocked QB room This is true but some here will tell you that we have jack shit all around
We have more receivers than we can keep It is a terrible burden to have. Hopefully we can stash 2 extra guys on the practice squad.
The D Line is deep and talented The 1st 6 are all able to play ball. Now they just need to bring it all together and murder Joe Burrow week 1
Witherspoon looks like a keeper Kazee as well. He seems to just show up and make plays
The punter looks much better A year with NFL coaching, eating, and lifting helps so does being 9 or 10 months removed from your father passing away.
We may have a good running back roster Hit a few creases and the D will have crowd the line leaving a WR group + Muuuth running 1v1 all over the passing lanes

I know the O Line sucks so far. I think we need to sit Green, help Moore until he settles down, and have a little patience with Daniels. He has shown he is a good guard. I think he will improve. If they can just suck less, I think we will surprise people.
