Simmons is one of those WRs that has that RB look to him.
Most of his use and success at UGA came in the form of PR (senior year), reverses, jet sweeps, short to intermediate passes (good outs and back-shoulders). He supposedly has 4.4-ish speed -- he's certainly not slow; he has some break-away speed to him.
He seems to be the exact type of WR our new OC (and Ben) would want in their offense.
He might just be a taller, thicker, faster Ray Ray McCloud. Hopefully he can bring something to the team (or at least practice squad).

The Steelers had a strong presence at Auburn's pro day this week. The WR there ran a 4.27 - 40 and was disappointed with that time.
Edit for spelling error.

Now that's speed, but having you're #5-6 WR run a 4.45, being good at PR, reverses, sweeps, screens, outs and back shoulders is a nice problem to have. Maybe he replace JaySam, idk.stillthere wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 6:47 pmThe Steelers had a strong pretense at Auburns pro day this week the WR there ran a 4.27 - 40 and was disappointed with that time.

No cost move maybe they loading up
Loading up? By signing a camp body?
Skill wise, this dude looks to be one helluva lot more than just a camp body.
If I were Ray Ray McCloud, who looked like a find the first 4 or 5 weeks of the season and then looked like shit the next 12 or 13 weeks, I'd be concerned.
If this dude has his head on straight, he could be a fucking monster.
