I’d start Paxton.
Duck’s been figured out.

Mike Tomlin and FUTCHNER are fucking idiots and I want them both gone.

I hope somehow BOTH Duck and Mason are unable to play next week.

I am still trying to understand what I watched today.
We scored 10 points?

Paxton will not start nor do I believe he will play next week either. It's a pride thing for coach retard. If duck was on a short leash, why the fuck wasnt he on the active roster.
I’ve seen enough of Donald Duck Hodges. If he wasn’t an undrafted underdog with a cute little nickname I don’t think he’d be getting as much of a pass as he does.
Was pulling for him to succeed but just don’t see “NFL QB” when I watch him. Not even as a back-up.
Mason has a higher ceiling IMO. And the better arm.

To all you folks that thought this piece of shit coaching staff was going to take this less than talented offense and turn it into a winning offense with Zero skill players. Zero RB's and Zero talent at QB.
I admit I bought into the Rudolph hype in the get go. Seemed the only way after Ben checked out. Hodges was a looooooooong shot to begin with. I liked what he was able to accomplish versus the future insurance salesmen, Costco greeters and marijuana dispensary partners... but Hodges was figured out well before this game.
Fichtner is a fucking poormans Haley. Fichtner is a gawd damn joke and not even a good one. Fichtner has cost this team more points that could have eventually led to some wins than this less talented version of his offense. How this motherfucker stays employed is anyone's guess.
There is no plug and play. There is a huge drop off when one vet goes down and a bench warmer has to step in. Why is that? Cause they do what they do. Square peg Round hole....
Fuck this team is bad. Worst they've been since the early 2000's. The very idea of fans being shocked at this is beyond laughable anymore.
The offseason is going to be interesting.

Itt going to upset when you don't see any coaching changes expect a new WR coach and if they are smart get a freakin QB coach.
But need to upgrade the OL coach those two stink and I agree Fitchner needs to be shown the door

We scored 10 points?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”
I'd like to see Lynch to see if there's any potential he could be our #2 next year.

Would love to see Paxton. But I thought Rudolph was solid today. If he doesn't get hurt I think we win actually.
You maybe didn't realize that he was QB for the entire 3rd quarter when the offense did nothing.
That was the best Mason looked all year, but he made all of his plays against that soft D unprepared for him before the half. He still threw a bunch of passes that were on the outer edge of the catch radius, and a couple guys dropped passes as a result.
That's been his problem all year, and he does it even on easy, routine throws. The first time all year he made a throw [to JuJu] that made me say "Wow!" was, after review on replay, horrible ball placement.

You know, maybe left-handed Ben isn't that bad of an idea....

DurIng the game there was a shot of Rudolph and Duck sitting on the bench together. I thought to myself, fuck. These guys are terrible and probably have a combined IQ of 87 to boot.

He gets another game, I wouldn’t even call it a chance, because he’s all they have left.BethlehemSteel wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 2:57 amso we give him another chance because of feels?

Any of you who thought Duck was worth anything are flat out homers at the least. I told you from the start that he was garbage.
And some of you thought he was better than Rudolph?!!!

Duck and Mason have combined for 17 interceptions this year. That almost sounds made up considering each has only played a handful of games.
Both suck balls. Period. Great job by the brain trust evaluating our backup QB situation. These two are fucking terrible.

They used to add a vet qb to play behind Ben,I don't think Mason goes this week.

The jury is still out on Mason. I love how morons commit the fundamental attribution error in evaluating him. Mr. Rudolph had some exceptional situational factors occur that preclude a final judgment of his performance during the season.

What jury is that? Are you talking about what his ceiling is? Somewhere in between Sam Bradford and Zach Mettenberger?SteelPowerful wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 4:45 amThe jury is still out on Mason. If the "jury is out" on Mason, then why are you convinced Duck sucks? He put up similar numbers over a similar number of games. Their play has been damn near identical.

That's 20 years ago for Manning when rookies rarely started. Completely different era.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 4:52 amRudolph + Hodges:

Mason is coming to the end of his second year, and ran a pro offense in college. Maybe your argument would apply to Duck. Maybe. But after nearly two years, Mason is probably not going to get much better.

Go back and watch the TD pass to DJ. That was his finest moment. He had shit footwork, when he should have had a QB peacock pose on that throw.
His plant foot pointed towards the 30 yard line seats, and the ball traveled almost along the hash mark lines. Just sloppy foot work. He does show consistency.....in his lack of accuracy.
If Duck and Mason were the wonder twins...wonder twin powers activate! Duck “form of a excrement!” and Mason “form of hot garbage!”
