Chargers at KC is a 1pm game. KC Wins tonight and wins early game against Chargers there is no way Houston can catch them and they would be locked into the 4 seed and have no reason to play starters against Tenn.

The Steelers screwed the Steelers and don't deserve a playoff birth.

Losing to a 5-9 team usually sums up your season.

I understand all the "Tomlin sucks, Steelers screwed themselves, they dont deserve to be in the playoffs, etc...." talk

That does not change the fact that Chiefs-Chargers should be played at 4pm to give all teams incentive to play their starters as much as possible. That is what the flexing schedule change they did for the last week of the season is for. To make it as fair to all teams as possible for games that affect playoffs/playoff seedings.

There is no other scenario that I can see in the league like this on Sunday and Steelers are the ones being affected. They put chiefs/chargers at 4pm that gives Texans some (may be not a lot but some) incentive to not rest starters. Chiefs are blowing out Chargers after one quarter or at halftime? Fine ,rest starters at that point. But Texans knowing more than likely at kickoff that Chiefs already won their 1pm game and Texans are stuck at the 4 seed and they have nothing to play for and can rest starters from the beginning of the game hurts the Steelers and that is not what is supposed to happen with the flex scheduling

Having superstars like Ben throwing, Antonio Brown receiving & Mike Munchak coaching on the team had hid the true ineptitude of the Steelers that the big zero, Mike Tomlin, has developed.

I still say NFL messed this up. Kansas City and Houston should both be playing at 4pm
