Steelering out Tonight

Post by StillMadAtSlobber » Tue Nov 20, 2018 2:51 am

So I dropped the GF off at the airport around 12:30 CST.

Got home, fired up the smoker, I have 2 port shoulders going. One naked, the other with some Moraccan spice blend.

So I did a run through the America's Game series.

I just finished and was debating my next choice.

I have gone with the 2004/5 WC game against Cinci.

I was also contemplating the WC 2009/10 game against the Chargers.

I should try and dig up some one of the dynasty team SBs.

Otherwise I was thinking of the MNF ass raping of the Felons where Harrison took control of the game.

The 1978 AFCCG vs. Houston in the slop at TRS is a personal favorite. I absolutely love:

1. The stoning of Earl Campbell - dude couldn't do a fuckin' thing that game. Possibly gunshy after the Torpedo hit in the regular season.
2. The final few minutes of the 1st half where the Steelers score 17 points putting the game away after a comedy of Oilers turnovers.
3. The Oilers scoring a safety to make the score a weird 34-5.

Crap, things I forgot watching this.

Ocho Stinko.

Early talk about Harrison getting injured early? I dont remember that.

Originally depressed hearing Colcloughs name. But seeing a good return by Ike.

The sheer joy in seeing all these pumped of Cinci Fans. Including the two bare chested "Who Dey" guys. And the knowledge that their happiness will be shattered in few hours ...

Oh, some shitty ST coverage by the Steelers....

Too bad I have become acclimated to that ...

Ike missing an INT because it hit him in the hands...

Nice. Glad it was Yanda and not one of our guys. Hopefully this guy is out of the league soon.

I was at that game. Bradshaw slid about 12-15 yards on that play.
