Ted Bundy once said he didn't find Gacy creepy either when they hung out..It’s weird. I honestly don’t think of McDaniel as creepy

Nick Markakis on Astros: "Every guy over there needs a beating."

"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."
I don't see McDaniel as creepy per se, but I think he tries to create a persona like he's some eccentric genius in general. Says dumb shit at weird times slightly out of awkwardness, but also because, you know, hes not really a genius.
Also, he's a white guy and no one is going to convince me he should be labeled a minority hire. Ever. Unless it involves receiving draft compensation when he leaves then sure he can check that box.

Amazing what a pair of frames and hair product can do
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

The Rats will never dig out of this.

Watched this today, pretty damning if you ask me, Coach Jason Brown played center for the Ravens and supposedly still has friends in the building, if what he's claiming about Lamar not waking up, not wanting to practice, and him and Monken not speaking for the last 4 months is true, the the Ravens have a huge Lamar problem, who's skillset is already starting to decay.

Easy to hate on Lamar and the Ravens but Monken isn’t the easiest guy to get along with
At Georgia , back to back National Champion Stetson Bennett only spoke to Monken through analyst Buster Faulkner (now the Florida OC) or tight ends coach Todd Harkey

Well let's see how Lamar does when he gets what he thinks he wants. If he wins it all then this was the right call for the Ravens but if he plays with similar flashes and crashes or totally bombs then maybe Harbaugh wasn't the problem.Steeldrama wrote: ↑Mon Jan 12, 2026 1:42 amEasy to hate on Lamar and the Ravens but Monken isn’t the easiest guy to get along with

I'd say it's 50/50 which way it goes.
