Re: Sunday Viewing Thread
And it’s far from “hate”. It’s simply wanting an incompetent coach replaced.
100% rational and based solely on what he puts on tape.
Your rose colored glasses are so thick you don’t see what everyone else does.
Time to get that prescription checked.

Fair enough. But when the hate is directed at other fans for not hating or God forbid, actually cheering for the team to win, then I think that crosses a line into some kind of sickness.Dan Smith--BYU wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 11:13 pm"You guys are consumed by hate and are trying so hard to be funny that you're embarrassing yourselves.
There's nothing wrong with supporting the Steelers.
Whether they win or lose I will still root for them to WIN."

WE ARE supporting the Steelers with our hate.
Look it up.

You are being obtuse. It isn’t you simply cheering for the Steelers.
It’s your deranged love of Mike Tomlin and the constant ball washing that comes with it.
Now THAT crosses the line to being a sickness.

It's exactly hate pointed at others that disagree with your point of view.
I completely understand the concept of getting rid off Tomlin. Feel free to enjoy that endeavor.
But what gives you the right to "hate" or bully those on this site that disagree with you?
Almost every thread on here degenerates into a hate Tomlin fest and then bullying others.
It's really bizarre.

Bullying is a perfectly natural and healthy part of human nature. If we had more bullying, Gen Z wouldn't be so utterly broken.

It’s not personal, Texas B&G
Unfortunately your devotion to Tomlin is a symptom of a larger problem. This is what keeps him employed. This is what Rooney thinks about when he offers extension after extension after extension.
If you reward mediocrity you will get mediocrity.

Maybe you don’t realize how often you ball wash him.
Here’s a hint….
It’s a lot.
Blind homerism is going to get pointed out.
Sorry if the banter is too harsh for you.
Bustin balls when talking sports with the guys is kind of par for the course is it not?

Is this your first time on these boards? It’s been like this since about 1998. The hate is pointed at Tomlin. You’re gonna catch strays for being guilty by association. If youre going to support a fraud coach then you’re gonna catch shit.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 11:38 pmIt's exactly hate pointed at others that disagree with your point of view.

In large part he’s correct
The younger generations are so fucking pampered, they have no fucking heart, no fucking spine
I’m not saying picking on people for being different is all good; but what it does, is it makes you become more physically and emotionally resilient
People who endure hardships will become more able to withstand challenges and overcome obstacles in life
Being pampered in every facet of life is a recipe for failure
The adage
Hard times create strong men
Strong men create good times
Good times create weak men
Weak men create hard times
We are at the bottom of the cycle

As expected, he has played a smart, under control game. Run heavy.
He has been more accurate than I expected...
Tho mostly short passes.
TD pass.
Nothing close to an INT.
Let's see the ending.

If Rogers doesn’t come back Jibbs has already locked onto his next QB to deliver NHALS.
Rivers to the Steelers.
Kenny had a banner day.
15/25 for 64 with only one pick and only four sacks.
Huge day.

If you're team takes a two point lead with a minute left in the modern NFL you are fucked.

While watching the other games today, it really became clear just how far behind the Steelers are.

Have no fear, Texas B&G will be along any minute to tell us about Jibba’s stellar record on Monday Night Football and how we are lucky to “be in the hunt” more often than not.Steelperch wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 2:27 amWelcome to the world many of us have been in for the last7 years.

Btw, when was last time the Steelers were eliminated from the playoff picture with 3 or 4 games left in the season? Or even 2 games? Come to think of it, I can't remember a game that didn't have any meaning. Lots of teams are just going through the motions right now.
I'm glad the Steelers are still very much in the picture.

We haven’t come close to winning a playoff game in almost a decade, nothing else matters. The Chiefs have been eliminated from playoff contention and will be going through the motions over the last 3 weeks. Anyone would switch places with them in a second.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 3:14 amActually you are correct. Tomlin PC 1/11/25 -“Don't blink. If you're a blinker cut your eyelids off"

Under coach Mike Tomlin, the Pittsburgh Steelers have an impressive all-time 21-3 overall record on Monday Night Football (MNF). This includes an undefeated 11-0 record in home MNF games, a streak that the team will try to extend in their upcoming game.
Tomlin has the second-highest winning percentage on Monday Night Football among all head coaches, trailing only the legendary John Madden.
The Steelers have not lost a home MNF game since October 14, 1991, a franchise streak that spans both the Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin eras.
The Steelers are scheduled to play on Monday, December 15, 2025, against the Miami Dolphins at Acrisure Stadium, where they will attempt to extend their perfect home MNF record under Tomlin.
