What do folks think about a current OLB FA Jackson Jeffcoat? He has some NFL experience with the skins. Started versus the Cowboys (2014) INT'd Romo and sacked Sanchez the week earlier vs the Eagles. Was released from the skins (back spasms) and then the stains claimed him from waivers then due to a hamstring injury during his conditioning test released him. Has had a couple bad breaks. Potential is there. Jeffcoat won the Ted Hendricks Award given to the country’s top defensive end in 2013. The 2011 Hendricks recipient was Jadeveon Clowney. Jeffcoat was also a consensus All-American and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year last season.
