So basically two 7th round picks
They are really cleaning house of anyone that isn’t on board
Good for them.

I have to agree. HE could have gotten better sitting on the bench behind Wilson but chose to have a hissyfitStillerInCT wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 7:06 pmHonestly, this just shows he's not a competitor to me. Would rather go to a team that has a bonafide QB1 rather than fight for his spot. Good riddance.
Courted. Probably right about deficiencies. It is a business…yada yada yada. They better come up with something else besides Wilson.anpsteel wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 7:28 pmThey didn’t trade for Wilson lolLakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 7:13 pmWell Pickett never got a fair shake with Canada being the OC.
I know some of you had him written off already. I was pretty close as well, but my write off had asterisks.
Hope it blows up in Tomlin's face and then we can get a new head coach that knows offense or can hire people that will actually develop into a coaching tree.
Thought the Wilson trade was good with Pickett in the mix and each pushing each other for a starting job.
Now the Wilson trade is awful!
Guaranteed elbow or Achilles injury coming up!
I will add the caveat that if they pull off a big draft move for a bonafide FQB, then it was a genius move. But if we go riding into the season with Wilson and some scrubs….JHFC!
Picket was never going to make it. He has too many deficiencies
and clearly a shitty attitude
I'm hoping they bring in Penix. Let him sit a year behind RussStillerInCT wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 6:58 pmWow. Didn't think we had it in us.
That opens up getting a QB in round 1.
We all know how Tomlin feels about Fields. With each passing day, the draft gets closer and the Bears asking price gets cheaper. Fields isn’t expensive in 2024, and there’s nothing that keeps a team from negotiating a new contract instead of picking up the 5th year option for 2025.
GOOD.
In terms of the offense….should anyone have been on board? They are throwing people off the burning train!
Bingo.StillerInCT wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 7:06 pmHonestly, this just shows he's not a competitor to me. Would rather go to a team that has a bonafide QB1 rather than fight for his spot. Good riddance.
True.
This. Steelers Nation just needed to see their team in the playoffs so we were pulling for guys like Mitch and Mason to eek out a few more wins…Steelperch wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 7:32 pmLet the record also show that little Kenny Pickett was a massive twat who refused to dress at the end of the season when he wasn’t playing and asked for a trade instead of trying to compete with an old washed up Russell Wilson. Now he’s a back up to a top 10 QB, who just so happens to be younger than him and locked up for the next three years. Ken’s career is over.
Yeah, I’m not concerned about who they fill the QB room with this season, because barring Wilson playing out of his mind, this is a 1 year “prove it” deal
Need a C, T, DL, WR, S, CB with those first 5 picks.1-20
2-51
3-84, 98
4-119
5 - None
6-195
7-None
Yup.
I don't see it this way at all. This is Rooney giving Tomlin the green light to do whatever the fuck he wants, but to get it done. Tomlin's seat may be getting warm, but he aint the door next year.
Fields could go for a 4. Maybe even a 5 at this point.
