Most Brutal choke job since Pats v Atl…I can’t believe what I have just witnessed…
Lions receivers choked the whole second half.
This. Goff deserved better

Definitely won't be watching the Super Bowl again this year.

Maybe Ben Johnson isn’t a genius.

Well, Campbell will live in infamy as an imbecile.

I would be so gutted to be a Lions fan to lose by 3 pts when your meat head coach just simply refused to kick a FG.

Imagine talking shit in Brock Purdy in this game to pump up Kenny Pickett and then have Purdy make play after play.

So not only are you obsessed with a QB who was benched for a third stringer but you think talking shit about a guy in the NFC championship game who turned it around in the second half to lead a big comeback

Is that Biff in Back to the Future?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Shanahan should send Campbell a big gift basket, having been there himself.

A chance to go back up by 3 scores in 2nd half vs the Purdys.

Took his team to back to back NFC Championship games, probably would’ve been back to back SBs had he not been injured last year. Just rallied his team back from 17 down in the second half, threw for more yards than Mahomes and made more plays with his legs than Lamar and people will still say he’s a game manager who is carried by his coach and skill guys or something.

The mental gymnastics people will do to prop up lil Ken and discredit Purdy is astounding.

Two pretty solid football games today. Shame about the Lions. They might have pulled it out but for a few fluky bounces and drops. And for their fans' sake, hope that Dan Campbell learned the difference between risk taking and recklessness.

Imagine not mentioning Purdy’s name for 3 quarters and then acting like he played a great game.

If the Detroit D could catch or the Detroit receivers could catch in the second half there is no way the 9ers win.

Does their kicker suck? Is 48 yards too far for him?

First two years as Mr. Irrelevant:

- NFCCG gets arm bent in half
- Super Bowl bound.

Meanwhile Kenny Pickett can’t even beat out Mason Rudolph to get his starting job back and they don’t rearrange the depth chart the last three weeks so Kenny’s feelings aren’t hurt.

HA!

Truly astounding. There are people here who think if Pickett was on the 9ers, he’d be going into the Super Bowl despite zero indication. And these same people talk shit about Purdy despite him making play after play.

Watching PR Pickett vs the QBs that played today is like going to a high school football game and seeing the freshman QB before the varsity guys play.

Such a stark difference.

Purdy’s ability to slide in the pocket is truly elite. Yes he made some scrambling plays, but there were a number of times he made the subtle move in the pocket.
