You're pissed. I can tell.
He's always pissed! He can't just relax and go with the flow and have some FUN.

I have a lot of confidence that if you took an anonymous poll of everyone in the United States of America on this topic between you and I, you'd be the only one voting for yourself
So naturally I won't take it as an insult.

The Pittsburgh Steelers became The PIttsburg Stealers.
They aren't worth of the Steel City; and at this point the team is 95% composed of guys who are stealing paychecks.
I don't recognize this team and the scary thing is I don't think I'll remember them any time soon.
nice thread jackoff. Yeah, Jarvis was the problem last night. attention whore with the amount of football knowledge that could fit in a thimble.
“I'm not going to accept it, they can't accept it,” Tomlin said. “It happened, but we've got to make the necessary corrections to move forward and make sure it doesn't happen again. These games are too precious.”

If you cant run the football, it won't work. Plain and simple
Every foundation needs the first block laid. Even if you're going 100 stories, you start with a single block. If that block fails, the whole operation fails. Your visions of grandeur are great, you just don't understand how to build them.
To more accurately put it, they need to be a hugely successful run team, they need to figure out how to control the line of scrimmage

Thats not going to happen until they fix the OLine. I think I'm preaching to choir when I say that. Fix the OLine and fix this offense.

The almighty has spoken and the results are going to be in the next game, the game after that and so on and so forth. Waiting patiently to watch as Tomlin Unleashes Hell.
Honestly, This Needed to be the mentality to start the season. At first I thought it was as the route was on in Pittsburgh. Then The Second Half had to be played. Much like tomlin's cliched drivel the team proceeded to take a huge shit on themselves and their fans. Last night was just an extension of that second half abortion last week. Get it fixed? Can't Fucking Wait!
Zivco wrote:Count me out on this one...he looks frustrated and pissed.
People need to understand every time he comes flying up in run support it's really not always his play to make...this team doesn't swarm the ball like it use to...TP has always forced plays to slow or go deeper...there just isn't the clean up crew there use to be.
We are 1-1...it's a marathon, not a sprint. I can remember looking this bad mid season...then Lake move to cb and we were SB bound. Not a prediction, I'm all fotr bitching...but even as a high expectations fan I'm not mailing it in week 2.
Iron_City wrote:A guy who's mailing it in doesn't leap the center to block a chip shot FG in garbage time
He may not be Troy Polamalu of old, but he can still close like a cat
SteelBack wrote: He is one of the 300, facing millions of Persians.
I felt sad watching Troy do that. Sacrificing his body to make a meaningless play
JJT wrote:This may be true, but last night to me was about turnovers, penalties and Ben being off.
You can't turn the ball over 3 times while getting 0, commit 9 penalties for 75 yards, and miss open receivers in critical situations and expect to win on the road on a short week against a desperate team.
I guess you could argue some of that is talent, but Ben is not an issue obviously, penalties are not necessarily talent related, not getting turnovers certainly is, but i don't think turning it over is, just focus.
The biggest thing i noticed was lack of intensity which just is not acceptable.
StillerInCT wrote:The OLine being the problem is bullshit. If you watch the game Ben was looking to release about 1-2 seconds after the snap on just about the majority of pass plays. Blame the OLine all you want (it has some warts). The reason we didn't make a single throw over 20+ yards is all scheme/play calling. At the very LEAST we could have tried for the token PI call.. But we didn't.
StillerInCT wrote:Pretty much nailed it. This team is soft as fuck.

that's what being successful in the run game does to an opponent.
Ravens came off a week of distractions where they should've got their asses kicked and they came out and slowed the game down, imposed their will, and beat the fuck out of that defense

mick wrote:I'd really like to see more spaeth helping out the pass protection and giving us time to threaten downfield, and less justin brown / insert 3rd receiver here.
Bears liked their top 2 wrs, te, and rb last season, and they basically never put a 3rd wr out there. Seemed to work okay. Helps you run as well.
I didn't hate our offense in general yesterday, but if we're always going to be staring up at long fields and our D is going to be giving up a good share of points, we're going to need a lot of big plays on O, and those are going to continue to be hard to come by if the ball is always coming out quick.
