I’m hoping Tomlin learned that lesson with JuJu and Claypool

No more, me first egos/players
Claypool was all the hype due to his size and willingness to be a gunner on the punt team and a blocker on return teams. Everyone loved the fact that even as a starter at ND he was still on the punt team because he was good at it.

What part of that story says a me first ego/player?
lol

Have you decided to follow me around today?

claypool was talking about his brand and all the same bullshit juju had been pushing.

Not to to mention the, “I’m a top 3 receiver” delusion

That was why they shipped him off. That and he was seriously underperforming
All of that was post-draft evaluation. That was what he got into once in the league. I don't recall him saying top 3 WR when he was coming into the league.

There's a lot of hype about all the free agent activity plus the draft class, so what are realistic expectations for this season?
Keep in mind the AFCN is still an extremely tough division and we are likely the 3rd or 4th best team in the division until proven otherwise.

A new QB, new OC, a lot of new pieces on the OL...I have to think we finish around 9-8. Maybe 10-7 or 8-9.
Looks like I was pretty close with my prediction.

Baring Russ having some sort of re-birth, and learning how to get the ball out quickly AND throw to the middle of the field

I see a 7-10 season coming

Losses to the

Falcons
Chargers
Cowboys
Raiders

Lose both games against the bengals
Split with the browns and the ravens

Lose to the eagles and the chiefs
Since we are revisiting,

I was right about Russ (on both accounts) that he should start over fields and his limitations

I was wrong about Atlanta, San Diego and Cincy

With the schedule especially at the tail end a murderers row of division games?

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 8, at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m. W. L - Cousins is better QB
Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 15, at Denver Broncos, 4:25 p.m. W L - Traveling to Denver, rarely play well there (Russ starting to feel the heat)
Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 22, vs. Los Angeles Chargers, 1 p.m. L L - Herbert and Harbaugh are too much, Russ is finally benched for Fields
Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 29, at Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m. W L - Anthony Richardson goes bananas
Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 6, vs. Dallas Cowboys, 8:20 p.m. W L - Things are getting real ugly now after losing big at home
Week 6: Sunday, Oct. 13, at Las Vegas Raiders, 4:05 p.m. L W - Finally get a W, Aiden O'Connell easiest QB we face all year
Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 20, vs. New York Jets, 8:20 p.m. W L - Once again, QB is a huge advantage
Week 8: Monday, Oct. 28, vs. New York Giants, 8:15 p.m. W W - Daniel Jones tosses 2 pick 6's
Week 9: Bye Week Preparing to ‘unleash hell’…. 2-6 heading into the bye, brutal schedule remaing
Week 10: Sunday, Nov. 10, at Washington Commanders, 1 p.m. W W - Close game, Boz nails one at the buzzer
Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 17, vs. Baltimore Ravens, 1 p.m. L L - Tomlin's dominance over Baltimore comes to an end
Week 12: Thursday, Nov. 21, at Cleveland Browns, 8:15 p.m. L L - At this point does it really matter
Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 1, at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m. L - L - Blowout
Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 8, vs. Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m. W - W - Rally the troops, beat the Stains at home
Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 15, at Philadelphia Eagles, 4:25 p.m. L - L - No chance
Week 16: Saturday, Dec. 21, at Baltimore Ravens, 4:30 p.m. L - L - No chance
Week 17: Wednesday, Dec. 25, vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m. L - L - No chance
Week 18: Date/Time TBD, vs. Cincinnati Bengals L - L - Thats a wrap - 4-13 final record, we now own the 3rd pick in the 2025 draft.

8-9

Well I guess I should be pumped, I had them going 4-13, not getting their 1st win until week 6 against Raiders.
