And others are much, much higher on Bernard than I am, which would pretty fundamentally shift the overall perspective. Just felt really frustrating after feeling like we’ve been building towards this draft for years, and the main weapon we came away with is a WR whose weakness is that he’s bad at gaining receiving yards on pass plays.

Re: Thoughts
Has nothing to do with Rodgers. Skowronrk is their lead STs guy. The best they have on the roster currently, especially without the great Conner Heyward. That’s what you want and need from your #5/6 WR. While Wetjen is an excellent returner, I’m not sure he gives you much more than that ST wise. Can/does Heidenreich play STs.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2026 3:29 pmNo freakin way...Rodgers loves that guyW&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2026 8:55 pmMaybe Wetjet and Heidenreich will knock Skowronek off the roster.Mick wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2026 5:39 pmtrying to be positive, if you rearrange some picks (e.g., if instead we got Dunker at 2.53 Bernard at 3.96) i could see giving pretty much C grades down the board, which would be ‘fine’, and probably overall a ‘good’ class given the capital we got to use.

This is dumb. Skow is a good ST player and gunner, and was recognized as such.

I don’t think AR is coming back…swissvale72 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2026 3:29 pmNo freakin way...Rodgers loves that guyW&M_Steeler wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2026 8:55 pmMaybe Wetjet and Heidenreich will knock Skowronek off the roster.Mick wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2026 5:39 pmtrying to be positive, if you rearrange some picks (e.g., if instead we got Dunker at 2.53 Bernard at 3.96) i could see giving pretty much C grades down the board, which would be ‘fine’, and probably overall a ‘good’ class given the capital we got to use.

Looks like if AR doesnt come back, top FA is…Russell Wilson.

I saw a video of ol Rusticle taking an at bat with the Bananas and he looks like he eats a couple pies a day. He is currently built like a Russet Potato. He's not playing anywhere.

Khan is a battered wife. Who can only move on with another guy who abuses her.
After Pickens and Brod, he couldn't wait to get more emotional drama and failure theatre with another immature WR and another OT project that may not work out.

What has happened to this team?
Seriously, have we become raiders east? Or cowboys north?
Poorly managed administration, disgruntled players and poorly managed facilities.
Draft day debacles in mortifying fashion in addition to poorly orchestrated outdated draft tactics.
Over drafting poor talent that isn’t a fit or up to snuff then futility playing that subpar talent out of position.
All why attempting to coach up the subpar over drafted talent playing out of position with subpar coaching staff.
Over paying for has been aging talent taking roster spots over your younger talent stealing reps/experience.
Being held hostage by an owner that is out of his league managing this franchise and stubbornly refuses to retire.
Now there are free agents who allegedly signed only really haven’t signed and are refusing to resign to get to playing shape. Right.
We have watched this team being systematically disassembled from the once proud successful franchise reduced to what we see today.
Tomlin was a huge problem and thankfully he was shown the door but we now know he was just part of the much bigger problem.
The writing on the wall doesn’t look good for this organization going forward unless there’s more changes addressing these issues.

Max Iheanachor T Arizona State: A project. Limited experience. Good athleticism. It's not a horrible pick, but I think they could have done better.
Germie Bernard WR Alabama: A good WR, but I don't think they needed to move up to grab him. Will probably be the biggest impact player in 2026.
Drew Allar QB Penn State: Awful choice. Wasted a good pick on a QB that has shown he has many faults. He is big and has a strong arm. That's about it. There is nothing else special about him.
Daylen Everette DB Georgia: There were better CBs out there. He will be a bench player and retire elsewhere.
Gennings Dunker G Iowa: Nice pick. Mean attitude. Strong and loves the weight room. Slow foot work, but that is why he will by moved to G.
Kaden Wetjen WR Iowa: I like the player, but he is not a 4th round player. He would have been there in the 7th. They could use him in the slot, but I believe he will be strictly a return guy.
Riley Nowakowski TE Indiana: Heyward 2.0
Gabe Rubio DE Notre Dame: This is puzzling, A wasted pick. He will not be in the roster when the season starts.
Robert Spears-Jennings DB Oklahoma: Special teams player. Great speed and isn't afraid to hit. As for coverage ability...well...
Eli Heidenreich WR Navy: Great value pick. Great work ethic. Good hands. He could play a limited role as a RB and a slot WR. Doesn't have experience in a pro set. If Bernard and Wilson struggle he could be called upon. Mainly a special teams player to being with.
I would have went a different direction in this draft. We didn't address S, ILB or NT early on. Bernard, Dunker and Heidenreich are my favorite picks. If Heidenreich was chosen earlier in the draft I would not feel the same.
Here is how my draft came out using each team's choices in the draft. I realize it can't be exact because I would not choose Max at 21, but that could change another team's pick down the line.
21. Jacob Rodriguez ILB
53. Bud Clark S
76. Domanique Orange NT
85. Emmanuel Pregnon G
99. Jude Bowry OT
121. Ephysians Prysock CB
135. Cyrus Allen WR
161. Zane Durant DT
214. Deontae Lawson ILB
216. Fa'alili Fa'amoe G
224. Jaren Kanak TE
237. Eli Heidenreich WR/RB

I really don’t get what this team is doing especially going into another year letting AR decide what he wants to do. It time to let these two young Qb fight it out and let the chips fall. I am totally not sure what happened in the first round but think they were caught off guard but not sure if lemon is going to turn into.

We already know he views the playoffs as a “crapshoot” where a lucky bounce here and a fortunate bounce there can excuse a poor performance.
Ahhhhh schucks. We made it to the dance. If not for a bounce here and a bounce there we could have advanced.
This lazy cunt cares only about the optics of a winning season.
Dunce Rooney is so fucking terrified of going 7-10 vs 10-7 he would literally let AR fuck him in the ass if it meant achieving those 3 extra wins.really don’t get what this team is doing especially going into another year letting AR decide what he wants to do.
