Day 3 Draft Board and wish list

Post by Stosh-67 » Sat Apr 25, 2026 4:02 am

After some trade downs and swapping and shedding picks, the Steelers still have 5 day 3 picks left.

4.121
5. 161
7. 224
7. 230
7. 249

Correct me if I'm wrong...

Round 1, Pick 21: Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State
Round 2, Pick 47 (via Colts): Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama
Round 3, Pick 76 (via Cowboys): Drew Allar, QB, Penn State
Round 3, Pick 85: Daylen Everette, CB, Georgia
Round 3, Pick 99: Gennings Dunker, G, Iowa

Remaining Picks (Rounds 4-7)
Round 4: Pick 121
Round 5: Pick 161
Round 6: None (Traded to Colts/other moves)
Round 7: Pick 224 (via Saints/Patriots), Pick 230 (via Colts), Pick 249 (via Colts)

What are your wishes for Day 3?

Ilb
Dline

Rb...
Double dip at WR?

This haul is ripe to go down as one of the very best in the modern era for the Black and Gold.

Kudos so far 8-)
Nice players there Zabo.

4th rounder is going to be Darrell Jackson, Wheatley or Kyle Louis. Wouldn’t rule out another WR either.

I’d like Heidenreich today. Fun player to add to the RB room and ST.

Decent draft so far. Really like Bernard and getting Dunker late 3rd is good value. Allar is a wasted pick, but not a shocker. Solid B
In their current state, I hate everything about this organization.

Why not take the D player here. They shoot for another gunner Oshefsky. Ugh wtf

They got him to be our returner and also for a speciality package of pass plays.

I'm just happy that all but one of the picks has been on offense.

That tells me McCarthy knows this team needs to grow up on offense.

Not happy spending a 4th round pick on a ST’s/gadget player they could have likely picked later.

The other talent available was there where they were picking that had value for the 4th round pick.

They have this oddly creepy debilitating fetish with Smurf receivers that didn’t really have a position in college and certainly don’t in the nfl.

Wetjin is legit. Not like past shot in the dark smurfs. Wetjin was my one MUST draft player even before the draft started. He already made the final 53 this year.

I like the player as well.

Still not a fan of where he was selected.

Guys his size tend to get injuries more often than not.

Especially as a return specialist, although with the pussified return rules now….

Wait and see mode.

Exactly. This dude will start day 1 and be a contributor. We've all complained we have RB3 & RB4 returning kicks and they are terrible. We now have a dude who can flip the field and go house from time to time. He was best at this in CFB

Perhaps Dawson or Perkins is the pick coming up. Giants took Kelly.
