Adam Henry named WR coach
Most recently with the Bills (yikes) but yes has worked with McCarthy in Dallas
I thought the Bills got a lot out of their receivers this year given the talent level they had.
But yes STD’s guy Shakir a nice player

He's soo much more successful and humble than Tomlin

Couple good hires
Jim Leonhard = DC Bills
Declan Doyle = OC-Ravens
Just 29 years old but gotta figure he had a hand in developing Caleb Williams and learned a lot from Ben Johnson

I cannot imagine a guy named Decian Doyle ever being a successful head coach.
The #Steelers are expected to hire former #Packers strength and conditioning coordinator Mark Lovat, sources tell @CBSSports.
Lovat, who previously worked under Mike McCarthy in Green Bay, spent the last two seasons with the Titans. Is a former NFL strength coach of the year.
The #Steelers are also expected to hire Titans assistant strength and conditioning coach Grant Thorne
Worked for the Titans the last two seasons. Prior to that he worked with the Packers, including under Mike McCarthy from 2013-18.
Both were assistant strength coaches in Tennessee. It's unclear what their positions will be with the Steelers.

Crossman, 59, has over two decades of NFL experience, most recently with the Dolphins. A key hire for Mike McCarthy.

Had no idea Peko was coaching. Interesting.
The Steelers plan to hire Domata Peko as their new defensive line coach.

Peko was a volunteer coach in McCarthys oldest sons high school football team last 2 years.

He needs one playoff win before his regime ends.
Art the Lessor is the least successful Rooney of the last 60 years... that’s a hell of a legacy.
You know the Rooney clan is giving Art and his entire family major shit every holiday for what he’s done to the franchise.
Mike Tomlin and NHALS - The embodiment of the soft bigotry of lowered expectations.
Kaboly is out there suggesting that offensive coordinator "may" be the most important position on this staff. He's such a clown.
McCarthy is going to install his scheme and call his own plays. It's like the people who lamented Teryl Austin when he was running Tomlin's defense for years. Only worse because the coordinator will be an even more direct figurehead..
Tolzien is apparently not experienced enough. To do what, get McCarthy his coffee and a handjob at halftime?
If I was a coordinator looking to make a name for myself I wouldn't come to this situation with no QB to speak of beyond Wil Howard or an ancient Rodgers to be McCarthy's flunky. Like, I'd hold off a year or two until something better came along.

Two names for McCarthy’s OC position to watch are New Orleans Saints quarterbacks coach Scott Tolzien and Minnesota Vikings tight ends coach Brian Angelichio.
Tolzien is out. Which this hiring season has been an indicator that the final decision will be announced (or leaked) within hours.Steelafan77 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 03, 2026 1:51 pmTwo names for McCarthy’s OC position to watch are New Orleans Saints quarterbacks coach Scott Tolzien and Minnesota Vikings tight ends coach Brian Angelichio.
As i would have been happy with tolzien or angelichio, my money is on wells.

Scott Tolzien, who interviewed yesterday with the Steelers for their offensive coordinator position, is going to stay with the Saints as their quarterbacks coach, source tells @NFLonCBS.

Somebody might want to inform McCarthy that it is permissible to interview coaching candidates that have never worked for him.
Geezus, do we always have to scrape the bottom of the barrel?
Tolzien was at least semi-intriguing since the Saints rookie qb Tyler Shough looks promising.
Hard to fault him for turning down the opportunity to be McCarthy's pizza delivery boy since McCarthy calls the plays and there's no promising QB prospect currently on the roster (Yes I know some of y'all like Will Howard).
"Don't worry fellas, the TE's coach of the Vikings coached for me like a decade ago."
Ridiculously short sighted hiring practices we have going on here.

Looks like they’re running out of candidates….
A very obvious sign candidates want a true promotion to call their own plays.
Something I believe McCarthy should be flexible with. Stop hogging it all.
The new ‘pivot candidate’ is now Brian Angelichio.

I’m sure even more coaches turning down the Browns than the Steelers but at least the Browns are willing to mine the college ranks for coaching talent hiring the Utes OC to bring Monken his 12th cup of coffee
Most college guys too young to be on a prior McCarthy staff hence not qualified for another 19 year run at NHALS
Heaven forbid you stumble on an innovator or someone with a fresh idea
Sell the team indeed

Angelichio is an interesting one. He's done a fabulous job with Viking TEs, but what intrigues me more is that he's O'Connell's passing game coordinator. Please sign me up for some of those play designs.
