Tomlin Argument Debunked
Tomlin Argument Debunked
Remember the argument Tomlin rumpswabs used which they thought a detriment to letting him go...
"Mike Tomlin will be hired immediately by another team as soon as he's either fired or he steps down!"
2 1/2 weeks on... where's all the offers?

I didn’t know what to think about those rumors...
However, I’m starting to think there is something to them.

Tomlin PC 1/11/25 -“Don't blink. If you're a blinker cut your eyelids off"

I thought he wasn't coaching this coming season.

The general managers who would kill to sign Tomlin are clearly having a holster malfunction or those weapons would already be drawn and discharged.
I'm just going by what Rich Eisen told me.

The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

There are some awful franchises that would hire Tomlin for the name. There are no franchises that would hire Tomlin for his coaching. That's why he has no tree.
Well, but then I guess there's PIT. Mike McCarthy was waiting by the phone for a year, and we still ran to the podium to hire Mediocre Mike II.

I thought every team literally had a contract in their drawers just waiting to unfurl for Coach T, including the red carpet and rose petals they would use to welcome Coach and his lovely wife Kiya, and his dumb piece of shit son Dino.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

TTHNC = This Team Has No Chance
What will be beyond pathetic is when the idiots that just kept Beliichick out of the HOF trip all over themselves to put Jibbs in his first try.
All of a sudden NHALS will weigh more heavily than winning Super Bowls.

Seems that Coach Cool Shades has pretty much fallen off the face of the earth.
The job that intrigues me with regards to this is Buffalo. You'd have to think that if Tomlin stepped aside for at least some of the motives that have been attributed to him publicly, like say he felt unappreciated, he'd be salivating over that Bills job. I mean, yea I don't think Tomlin really makes sense for them and I don't think he'd succeed there even on the level of McDermott, but if he plans to get back into coaching and prove he can still win it all, is there any better opportunity that could come along than with Josh Allen? Short of Reid stepping aside and maybe KC becoming available?
But crickets.
I do still believe there could be more to the story.
I do think that regardless of how fun it is to mock the notion now that Tomlin certainly could have and would have gotten a job had he wanted it. We just saw Stefanski get another gig. Steelers went with McCarthy which tells me they see nothing wrong with how things have been. Tomlin could have stayed here. He could probably pick up the phone right now and Art II would take him back without hesitation. Fire McCarthy as soon as he got off that phone like some teenage girl on a break from her boyfriend who has a drunken hookup and then gets text from him with jizz leaking out of her and runs out of the room to find him.

I was about to post something like this. Hes completely disappeared from discussion about coaching, TV career, community, etc. Its almost as if he never existed. The media hyped and discussed his storybook career endlessly and then completely stopped for some reason.
LOL. If Tomlin didn't jump on any, not even one, of the many openings this year, his window will have closed, if you will.
I saw something about a documentary on Netflix, Obama runs Netflix programming when he wants, so I could see that. Two gasbag windbag egomaniacs. I could see them interviewing each other, it would be insufferable. There would be a dent in the earth's crust from their massive overinflated self-worth.
Yes, Coach T is the next John Madden.
“Mike Tomlin can reset television as a form of entertainment, football as a form of entertainment on television in a way that no one has since John Madden,” Wilbon said. “And that may be new ways we don’t know about, it may be one of the existing ways with an existing network or platform. I don’t know, I’m not a television executive. But Mike Tomlin, who you have loved to hear talk and talk to for 20 years, you know Mike Tomlin would be great at that.”
