Wonder where Cam’s head is at?
Does he think he has more leverage now that Harmon is hurt?
Or does he have the mindset to end the foolishness and join his brothers now that the team needs him.
The way Black is playing, Cam should be moved to NT and Black should start at DE in base. Benton can then move to DE as well in base.
Black should see the field plenty in base and nickel, even when Harmon comes back.
Maybe cut Cam’s snap count down to compensate for his lack of pay.

Wouldn’t it make far more sense to use Black, the heaviest lineman we have, at NT vs the much light Cam Heyward or Benton? The way Black is playing, Cam should be moved to NT and Black should start at DE in base. Benton can then move to DE as well in base.
That would be my choice.
Don’t disagree with you, more of a knock on Cam and his attitude.955876 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 9:38 pmWouldn’t it make far more sense to use Black, the heaviest lineman we have, at NT vs the much light Cam Heyward or Benton? The way Black is playing, Cam should be moved to NT and Black should start at DE in base. Besides, he can do it all. Mr All Pro
Damn, I always liked Cam too. Not so much nowadays
Black is moving pretty well for his size too, might be capable of more at DE
I’m sure Jibbs will try to pound a square peg into a round home yet again.
Is he playing next week at NYJ? Or is he gonna pout about his millions some more?!?
Cam quietly re-starts hold-in...

Just pay him 28 million to run a phony Tree company LLC and be done with it.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

If he doesn’t play Sunday take his captaincy away
100%
But Jibba Jabber wouldn’t do that to the biggest ass kiss on the team.
So the Steelers have already paid him most of his money… He doesn't deserve one dime more than he's already being paid. No one put a gun to his head to sign his contract. So Cam… Honor your contract and shut the fuck up.
I’d take his captaincy away and put him on IR
or the Did Not Report list
It's possible a distant cousin died a few years ago and he needs time to gather himself.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."
Steelers are calling this a veteran rest day. In week 1 when he sat out all of camp.
