Chase Claypool
Chase Claypool
Trying to get back in the league
I’d bring him in for an interview to see where his head is at and if he’s grown up any
I would imagine he’ll get better offers and in a role that he’s likely to get more opportunity
But barring making a significant trade, he probably brings the most upside of any existing free Agent.
Also, he likely already knows most of the offense

He was traded for reasons other than his average receiving ability. No thanks.
I get it
That’s why I said you’d have to interview him to see if he’s matured any
Back then, he was all about Mapletron and Instagram
Anyway, if you interview him and come to the determination that he’s still a dbag, don’t sign him
All of the remaining free agents come with issues. Those could be declining abilities due to age, shitty attitudes, or just generally incomplete skill sets.
How much worse could Chase Claypool be?
Just a thought

I just shared what I’m thinking not necessarily what the fraudlin staff will do.
Since they love the reclamation projects and have an incomplete wr corps could be a match made in heaven.

I'm guessing his head is still where it was.

Maybe Claypool has a younger brother who is marginally talented at football. That package should seal the deal for Tomlin.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

Don’t see this happening they moved on
Didn’t Tomlin give both Plax and Bryant a second chance?
I’m not a big fan of claypool, so don’t misunderstand
Im suggesting with what is currently available, he might be the best option- if his head is on straight
That’s a big if

And he had a pretty strong rookie season
Then Mr Instagram, JuJu, got in his head
His rookie year was quite good.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 9:37 pmClaypool sucked in EVERY regard while he was here

But after that, he stopped doing whatever it was that made him a professional. Like someone else said, probably the WR teammates got him distracted from doing the work.
He'll probably resurface in the UFL

He should go to the UFL or any other NFL team other than this one.
He sucked at football, Without Ben.
Hell, this coaching staff sucked w/out him too.

All you need to do is check to see if he still wears these shoes and runs like the guy that made em famous.anpsteel wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 1:53 pmTrying to get back in the league

Does the franchise need a custodian? I bet he could do that job.
Wonder if he learned how to catch a football without flopping around like a fish.

I certainly won't miss Claypool falling down all over the place. I've never seen anything like that in my life. Even middle schoolers keep their balance better

I almost typed this too, and so still think it is true.
But what about Chase's brand he worked so hard to develop and monetize!!!
